The road to this hike is usually closed by this time of year, but since we hadn't had any major snowfall yet, the road was still open. I decided to take Nala for a last minute trip and check this one off. We usually do this trail a few times a year, and the last couple times we did it, we got stuck in a pretty nasty thunderstorm on the way down. This time, we were blessed with cold but beautiful sunset conditions, and I am so glad we made the trip out.
P.s. I definitely had a little altitude sickness on the way down but we made it out okay :)
