When I was 11, I was in the Boy Scouts, and I won a chance to get a Bald Eagle to land on my arm at that week's Scouts meeting. I was given the giant glove and the handler stood behind me showing something to eat for the Bald Eagle who was across the gym from me. The Eagle flew over, landed on my outstretched arm, and I was in disbelief at how majestic and large it was. OK yes I was only 11 and not a fully grown adult. But I still remember that experience and how awesome it was.

I'm guessing you're fine, but please be careful on your adventures! If it leaves a mark on your wrist you'll have a good conversation starter with it. Hey Marie 😃 🦅 🇺🇸 ✨ You Betcha , "Lake Life is the best Life , getting lost in the Land of sky blue waters" Up close with eagles at long last , such powerful & majestic birds , what better symbolises America's freedom. It's understandable that they probably wouldn't survive back in the wild. I hope they ain't tied up to long & have plenty of space to spread their wings elsewhere. When it comes to the longest lived eagle , he wasn't given a name in 1977 when he was hatched at puposky lake near bemidji there in Minnesota along with three others who were relocated to New York Montezuma wildlife refuge. There was only one breeding pair of wild eagles at the time that lived at Hemlock lake but they kept accidentally smashing their eggs , so a program was started to import eaglets from other states that ended in 89 , afterwards they no longer kept tabs on them. Sadly in June of 2015 he died after being hit by a car while feeding on a rabbit. It's remarkable that he lived & breed up to 38 years old setting a all time record. Their eyesight is astonishing seeing up to 3 - 5 miles in great detail in stereoscopic vision , we have 200 , 000 cones per sq in our eyes , whereas they have a million & can see the five basic colours compared with our three including ultra violet. The exhibs were superbly done , I've never seen a unquie art book like that before , I liked how tactile it was , the talons were impressive , I saw a video recently of a woman who was trying to separate two eagles fighting that proved to be very difficult. You did okay on the grip machine , your soon get stronger if you keep up the climbing , maybe learn to tie some big knots , those tire lifts or carry around a handgrip like I do if I'm going out for a run or up some steps. Niagara Caves was really cool with it's sculpted passages , weird formations & interesting fossels. You'll were lucky to have it to yourself your guide was nice & sure knew everything about it. Most people would be afraid to be in complete darkness , but not you , the purple phosphate lit up in the rocks was amazing. You should have shouted Frenchtastic ( if it's allowed) to hear back the echo. Your 🍕 ha you know we can't take a bite through the TV & poke 🥗was Delish , that type of dish is easy to make fully flavoured however you want that you could eat any day. Check out the Tastes better from scratch website for the newest recipes. The dessert was yummy too 😋 It's sad to end on a finishing note about Maya 🐕 we didn't get to know her as much as you did but I do know how much it feels to lose a beloved pet , my heart goes out to your friend. If we all believe in the 🌈🌉 they will be waiting to be together with us again. Cesar millan ( the dog whisperer) put out a video while walking a pack of dogs last week & talked about how much they've meant to us in our lives. Thanks again Marie , it's deepy appreciated , i always enjoy all your adventures & I'm looking forward to more delights to come from the northern states. " When a Storm is coming , All other Birds seek shelter The Eagle alone , avoids the storms by flying above it , so in the storms of life , may your Heart Sour like the Eagle" Take care , God bless have a wonderful Sunday 🧡🌸✌️

The biggest concentration of eagles on the planet occurs every winter during the bald eagle migration to the Skagit (Skajit) River in Washington state where hundreds of eagles migrate from Alaska and Northern Canada to feast off of the salmon when they spawn.
