I'm knitting my first Friend to Friend while I watch this. It's so enjoyable! I like the Hue & Me yarn so far and ordered enough for another one as well. I love the pants you sewed out of sheets & the blue yarn for a Friend to Friend. What a great idea! Love all the neutrals too! I love to look at color but my closet and home decor are neutral. It makes me feel calm, makes it easier to throw things together. Good morning🌸. I just finished my first Half n Half. I GET the obsession with it and the gorgeous linen quill! I believe your issue with your light version. Is the fact that it shows every stitch. The good and the roll out stands out. I used Pale Oats. I was knitting away and it did not look good! You know the moment you think your a great knitter. Then the yarn finds a way to humble you😂. I kept going and of course it all worked in the end. But the dark side really looks perfect. It’s blocking now and looks gorgeous. Your idea about using sheets is brilliant! Thank you for sharing. So glad you had a fantastic adventure abroad! Thrilled that you had a new video to watch. Love the repurposed old sheet idea! I have a lot of gently or barely used flat sheets because my husband hates flat sheets on the bed. 😂 I have one skein of Berroco Vintage (beige) that I’ve been using in Toast mitts! Seems like it’s great for those. On one set I blended it in a Striped version with a cream color Berroco Ultra Alpaca and those are super soft and squishy together. I’m making a second pair all beige vintage with just a few stripes at one end holding some linen quill double to add a pop of a color. Looking forward to trying out the daily pull over! Hi Leslie: Glad you are back and enjoying your porch knitting! I am about to separate for sleeves on my first Ranunculus sweater. I never jump on the bandwagon because it looks complicated and I didn’t want another epic fail. Also, I usually knit sweaters that don’t have lace on them for warmth in the winter. However so many podcasters mentioned that it was easy and they knit a dozen of them! So I squared away all the obligatory baby gifts. So, I am trying to knit one for me! Hello friend! It really must have been wonderful to spend 3 weeks in Spain! Love all your makes! This year I am dedicating working from stash! One project I am knitting is to take all those leftover skeins of sock yarn and making random size socks for my grandchildren. I am excited to use up and revisit those well loved skeins of yarn and clear them out! My birthday is in June and I am going to finally use a hoarded Advent set on a to be determined project! Oh my goodness, I love all your knitting projects! Isn't the Daily Pullover the best!? I've knit one out of Linen Quill, but I ha e yarn to knit another one using Holst Garn Coast. Then maybe another with Holst Garn Tides, a silk yarn. I feel I have a few super cozy winter sweaters, but I need those more light weight sweaters still with long sleeves. It's so versatile!

Leslie, PA hello! Love my shortie needles, too. I enjoy knitting with Chiaogoo steel needles and decided to try Lykke driftwood. Just curious about them. On bindoff, I wonder if you used the Icelandic BO with that garter edge? If not, perhaps try it sometime. It’s wonderful with garter, blends beautifully and provides stretch. I love Shetland wool. It’s typically woolen spun, so that would make your sweater feel even lighter. I’m stash knitting at the moment - Petite Knit Copenhagen Cardigan with Katia wool & silk held with Biches & Buches silk mohair both in black feels heavenly. Cheers! Enjoy summer

You are always so easy to sit down and knit "with" Leslie! Loved watching as I am knitting on my Ranunculus (in LBA Flouromorganite!) this morning before work. While I have always been a lover of bright colors, especially now during a season of grief after recently losing both my Mama and my Dad within 3 years of one another, I am also very inspired by your neutral palette. I have a very generous stash which includes msny neturals and warm, autumnal yarns. I just purchased a SQ of "Gilded", one of Voolenvine (Kristen Lehrer's) newer neutral, speckled colorways which I am anxious to use for a long sleeved raglan sweater. It goes to show you that we absolutely draw energy and inspiration from one another. Respectfully, (to your commenter) I must disagree with their comment, there is no need to add color where it isnt desired. Choosing to wear a color is such an personal, emotionally driven, daily task. That's why there's chocolate and vanilla... and neons❣

I'm like you and that I have a lot of pink in my skin and neutrals look best on me too. But I do love color so I will add an outline on my sweater cuffs or make a bright set of fingerless mitts for that great color pop. I love to find ways to add it in my wardrobe. I enjoy making the most funky socks for pizazz that aren't near my pink skin. Enjoy your color play.❤

Dont be bothered by opinions on your choice of wardrobe colours! You know yourself and wear and knit with what you want. A hot pink summer top would be a fun addition and would look great on you.

Dear friend Leslie, you look very well and rested. I tried the Jenny's Bind-off a while ago. It seems more loose than elastic to me. Maybe I didn't do it right. I regularly get caught on my kitchen handles with my sweaters, the cuffs of which tear just as regularly. The Italian bind-off resists these attacks best. Jenny's bind-off cracked the cuff in several places. I'm curious about your experience. By the way, since yesterday I've been knitting the buttonhole band of my black champagne cardigan. It's not complicated at all, but it takes forever. However, it is totally worth it as it looks great. Have fun knitting and I'm looking forward to your next podcast. Hugs, Heike

Hi, Love your podcast. The daily pullover looks stunning. Even if it's summer here soon you always need to have some knitwear in northern Sweden. Today it's just 13 degrees celsius (55,4 fahrenheit). I'm currently knitting on my second cumulus tee by petite knit in black. I also have some socks on the needles. I love hiking.. in two weeks me and my sister is going to Lofoten in Norway to camp and hike. Maybe the next time it will be in Portugal. 😀

Oh Christy I totally agree. I was pretty much in heaven knitting on the camino! Even if I didn't keep the socks! We did not do a tour however, we had a travel agent organize an outfit who transferred our luggage daily. So we only carried one back pack with water and a few snacks and of course knitting. 😍💜

OMG, I remember long ago when you first made those pajama pants! There was a cute picture in your kitchen at your old house. Was it 2007? I have that book too, but haven't tried them yet.
