Just found you. Knit all day. Of course! From comments, looks like you’re in Pittsburgh. (great city) I’m there every other month to visit my mom (96), who taught me to knit. Unfortunately she has lost the knitting part of cognition, but still enjoys that I knit while reading archeology articles to her. Great little shop in Oakmont, “Yarns by Design”. Thank you.

Leslie, love watching your blogs, though I am a little late on watching this one. The sweater you msde with Shibui (Twig)...I think I recently read that Madeline Tosh (I think?) has picked up Shibui yarns and will be bringing out many of their types ?

Hi Leslie! Your podcasts are always interesting! In this one I heard you say that you resolve some "too large" issues by using a dryer. It talks to me a lot as I knit a lettlopi sweater for my son 2 years ago . I think the sweater grew and my son "shrunk" so now the sweater is too big. Could you give me some tricks as how you do this, how long, etc... It could save this sweater and prevent it from going at Goodwill😅

My dream; to sit and knit whenever I want to! Thank you for sharing all the inspiring patterns. Next on my list is the butterfly blanket. 2 new babes to knit for! First I need to finish the the final rib on my ranunculus. So fun! I had in stash some very old Denim Silk by Berroco which has worked up beautifully. Make one out of whatever! It has been a fun knit.

I always watch your videos with a paper and pencil to write down the patterns and yarn you use. So many beautiful things! I really appreciate that you don't always use the expensive yarns.

Leslie, I love your Billie. Makes me want to make it. I would have shared your concern about the yarn and am happy that you are pleased. I also could really relate to waking up and thinking about the projects. However, 2 hours is about all the daily knitting time I can manage, although I would like to do more.

Lesley do you have or know of a simple lightweight shawl pattern ( to be worn as a wrap round scarf) with a pattern but for beginners/ intermediate knitters? . I have some home spun ombré yarn which is fingering weight. Just can’t find a fairly simple pattern

Knitting is our happy place. If your a knitter you know but if you don’t knit your at a lose. I stopped knitting for about 6 years long story but a few months ago I started again and I in love. The cover-up your mother knitted is a pattern by the former famous Australian Knit designer Jenny Kee. Her patterns are no longer in print and still have copyright on them. The garment is called "Tropical Sea Garden" inspired by the "Great Barrier Reef" fish in Australia. Intarsia knitting in fingering weight cotton from the book "Nature Knits" by Jenny Kee. I have the hardcover book, which I will cherish. If you have the original book/pattern. Its a collectors item. And worth a lot of money.

Just returned from 4th of July in Pittsburgh with my 9 mos old granddaughter and her parents(my son and daughter-in-law) and I knit the whole way there and the whole way home(I live in Virginia) it was glorious to have time to car knit! Love your summer knits! I want to knit the clover tee!

Great tip! I love your aesthetic including your pattern and color choices. I'm curious - did you create any special edging on the cast-on and bind-off edges (like i-cord?) Would you recommend this or would it make the wrap look too boxy?
