It is not easy to explain how awesome a wagyu steak is. Today I invited a friend to try it for the very first time. I gave him the wagyu tomahawk experience, cooking an awesome wagyu msb 9 together with some amazing potatoes and 2 sauces, one was a garlic aioli and another one a pesto sauce.

Everyone’s talking about his face when he tried the Wagyu, but his face is gold when he stuck that potato in his mouth at 10:10 . When I tell you I have never seen more genuine enjoyment of a potato, I mean it. And people love their self some French fries. That potato snatched his soul, he was shook.

Ryan Spencer Lauderdale , lol no, it doesn't. You use the same seasonings on all the beef, with some exceptions. You sous vide some steaks before opening, keeping the meat in the sous vide until it's ordered. Once it's ordered, remove from sous vide and grill or blowtorch, etc. to finish the outside. Plate.

@@Elric509 He uses a lot of animal fats on his other channel. You don't see it as much on SVE because they've found that oils or grease in the sous vide bag actually weakens the steak taste. On Guga Foods though, off the top of my head there's a video where they deep-fried a wagyu steak in beef tallow, used wagyu fat to make carbonara and seared steak in bacon fat, beef tallow, and duck fat.

You don’t need to be rich to have good steak. Not sure what country you’re in but in the UK you can get a good sized sirloin or rib eye (which is better) for £4-£6. Its more to do with the cooking & resting. Make sure the steak is room temperature before cooking never straight from the fridge and always rest your steak after cooking for at least the amount of time it cooked for. When I’m resting I put a knob of butter on the steak and cover with foil
