@@peterkistler3537 No they don't. I play for long too and keep it yet. Had some pause while they fixed FPS. problem of the "opinion makers" is they cannot make new WOW videos to earn money. That's why they're angry. But I don't care, I subscribe for "Elite", not to "Joe Dow", so I just cleansed my list a lot lately.

@@alexzk3 I mean if you're only listening to annoying ppl that's unfortunate. but channels like d2ea obsidianant and cursingexplorer have good points in their complaints all the time. I play the game despite these things too but the devs don't get any credit for my stubbornly grinding through these systems lol

@@peterkistler3537 I don't think it is a "grind". I feel like it is "life in deep space". It must be "boring" and slow. All SF books I read describe it so. That's why I feel game is perfect, furthermore I feel like some latest additions are step in wrong directions. I cannot understand why wars happen with so much unused resources yet around.

I found this overview extremely helpful by your explanations and you actually doing them, it's good to see how someone who knows about the game does things compared to yourself. I recently started playing and have mostly been running missions trying to figure things out myself, it's been fun. Doing a search for beginner guides with 100k+ views was a let down, most of those videos share overall tips without any context and have speed talk going on, so didn't learn much. Keep making more videos, they're exactly what new players need. cheers!

Great introduction to the game.. well done. Just a couple of tips on pronunciation. "Mk" isn't pronounced 'emm kay'. It's an abbreviation of the word 'mark', so it's pronounced as (for example) "Krait Mark 2". Basically meaning, a second generation Krait. ('Mark' is a very British term, so naturally, being a British game, Elite Dangerous uses it. But the abbreviation puzzles most Americans, as it's not something they usually encounter.) The Asp Explorer. It's not pronounced 'A Ess Pee'. It's not an acronym, it's a proper name, of a species of snake. An asp. (According to tradition, Cleopatra killed herself by means of one.) It's pronounced like 'arse' with a 'p' at the end. Fly safe, Commander! o7

Tell ya what, buddy. You should get yourself a phantom. As an owner of a mkii and a phantom, the mkii is a great combat ship, but the phantom is the ULTIMATE jump range and exploration ship. You will not go wrong with how you build a phantom, as long as it's not for space trucking. 😂😂😂

You obviously haven't played in LONG WHILE as folks that are currently playing know better. That talking point is about a year old now; Odyssey, while not perfect, is miles from where it was at launch. Please update your narrative to current times, please. Reply
