Apollo is our 11-year-old, pure-bred Friesian he is a good horse for a beginner rider. He has a lovely collected canter and is a great farter. He is herd leader over Farouk who is a pure-bred Arabian horse, Farouk is 9 years old and loves galloping and is a good endurance horse. He is the Grandson of the famous Marwan Al Shaqab and then there is Princess Bella a Four-Year Old pure-bred Andalusian filly her speciality is bucking and jumping for joy.

Gates are not Bella’s cup of tea. However, I think she did well for all back and forth. The dog is another obstacle to manuver. Good girl Bella❤

Hi ☺ 👋 I think Bella, is doing very well with the gates. Especially so, for her low hours in the saddle, so far. She is still considered a green 🐎 Only thing she may do sometimes, is try to rush through the gateway before the gate opens or closes. But Faroukie, does that too ☺

Good to know Ike is alive and kicking....😂. Well done at the gate. Those double ones are terrible especially when the large one is not fastened properly. So much to learn from all the elements thrown at you today.....dogs, gates, barking dogs, horses......it puts you off doing that route, but if Bella is not exposed she will not learn. Well done.

Ability to relax will come in time. For now, particularly this day, everything’s a stimulation-stupid gate, barky dog, Pac-Man sheep, running horse, flighty pheasants-all while trying to listen to Mum! 🤪😬😉❤️

Shame on the farmer for not fastening the bottom of the gate. He may just be the kind who gets his jollies out of watching riders struggle with it. Ikie barks indeed! 😠 However, Bella did very well with it and the barking dog too. ❤️❤️🐎🐎👏👏🐶🐶

Well done at that Gate! Bella was a star for sure! There were lots of distractions with the dog barking and the horses across the road! It’s nice to hear Ikey barking occasionally! Miss the little fellow! I thought you might have to dismount for a minute but you persevered. Cute how the horse came to see Bella! 🐴⭐️⭐️❤️❤️🥕🥕

The gate caused lots of Ikie barks. Without the bottom latch I didn’t see how you could possibly get it closed while mounted. With Bella’s help you somehow managed it. Lots of crazy things going on but Bella handled them with flying colors.

Well done Bella. She just gets better and better. Loads of Ikey barks - Tara must have muttering some very,very naughty words😂😂. Loved the horse running to see Bella, but she wasn't really interested. She loves being out ( and knows that if she's sensible and listens to mum, she won't have to practice 'stuff' in the manege). It’s funny watching Bella’s ears as you give commands in your handling of her. She is very much at attention to the sound of your vocal instructions. Her ears are clearly on a swivel when you tell her to slow down, as one who knows nothing of riding I do enjoy the ride everyday.

Bella will be going home with some new words, we can only hear Ike but Bella gets the full effect and we know she is a quick learner. Apollo will have a fit when hears Bella’s new words and Farouk, being a sensitive chap, will fall down in shock. Then Apollo will have a quiet word with Rens and ask him to remind Tara that little mares have big ears and Bella is coming home with a few choice words that he doesn’t encourage the herd to use.
