A Fugitive and his Family: Escape to the Islamic State

Abu Rumaysah, also known as Siddhartha Dhar, is reported to have traveled to Syria with his family after fleeing the UK while on conditional bail. The Islamist convert was one of nine people arrested on September 25 on suspicion of supporting the banned terrorist organization al Muhajiroun.
Two days after his arrest, Rumaysah failed to comply with bail conditions requiring him to hand in his travel documents and instead boarded a coach from London to Paris with his wife and four children, which was reportedly headed for Syria.
After weeks of speculation concerning his whereabouts, Rumaysah posted an image to Twitter showing him posing with a baby and an automatic rifle. He claimed that he had made it to the Islamic State. "What a shoddy security system Britain must have to allow me to breeze through Europe to the Islamic State," he wrote.
VICE News spent time with Abu Rumaysah before he fled to find out more about his activities in imposing Sharia law in the UK and his views on foreign policy. We also interviewed radical preacher Anjem Choudary, who was arrested on the same charge, and spoke with him about Rumaysah’s exit from the UK.

+JML It's not the oppressive aspects of Hinduism but of Indian society. Every society had an oppressive aspect. In India the oppression was in the form of discrimination and social boycott while in some other society the oppression was in the form of slavery. Hinduism is the world's ancient religion and so obviously it will be affected with some of the ancient culture which may not be suitable for today's modern world. But look at the other aspect. Those people who were oppressed in India were called the "Untouchables". Hindu scriptures mention only four class of people and they are 1. Teacher 2 Ruler 3 Trader 4 Labor Somewhere in the history this fifth class of people were included and nobody knows the history about it. But these oppression could have been abolished through education and development. India was first ruled by Muslims for about 500 years and then by British for 200 years. 700 years is a long time to change a culture or to push a culture into dark times. At the end of British rule in India only 12% people were literate. And everybody knows that India was a massively poor country (and still is) where people didn't even had enough food to eat twice a day. You can't expect a poor and illiterate society to be be very civilized. Unlike other religion, most Hindus don't read their scripture. so it's a totally wrong concept that any oppression can come from the scripture. If it comes then it comes from the culture and with education and development that will go away too.

JML wive treating their husband as God is a very vital aspect of Hindu society and it can't be changed. Maybe for a western it's an oppression but for an Indian it's not oppression. Western culture can't be a benchmark for Indian culture. We have our culture and it shouldn't be compared with western culture. For true translation you have to read those controversial verses translation from authentic Hindu sources. But anyway as I said that it could have been changed with education which was deprived to Indian people by Muslims and British. Manusmriti is not a religious scripture and very few people (maybe 0.1% ) read it. It was written by an ancient sage and is the only code of conduct available to Hindus and so some keep it in High esteem. But it's not considered a religious scripture.

It’s honestly unbelievable to me that someone like Abu Rumaysah can buy into this garbage and extremism. The guy decided to become a terrorist and blood thirsty murderer because he legitimately thought Islam advocated terrorism. What’s crazy is that he didn’t even learn about his faith in regards to these terrorist groups and his Islamic knowledge was extremely limited. Instead of actually learning about Islam he followed the words of hate preacher and terrorist sympathizer; Anjem Choudary who I believe completely manipulated him and other lost, confused and angry young men. If Choudary’s followers/ ilk would actually look into their faith, especially regarding these terrorist organizations, he would’ve learned that Islam COMPLETELY condemn these groups. A lot of people who don’t like Islam believe they’re true representations of Islam but this simply isn’t true and the facts say otherwise. Anyone who supports terrorists like Osama Bin Laden’m, justify his attack on the World Trade Center is NOT adhering to Islamic beliefs or principles. Their Islamic knowledge must be very limited because Islam directly and unequivocally condemns these evil terrorists and their organizations. There are very clearly outlined ethics of war in Islam that forbid the killing of innocent people (civilians who aren’t involved and aren’t fighting), particularly women, the elderly, and especially, above all else; children. Anyone who doesn’t want to believe that can do their own research and/ or consult a real Islamic scholar who are all in unanimous agreement on this. ISIS, Al Qaeda, Jabhat Al-Nusra, etc. are terrorists and are known as “Khawarij” in Islam. The prophet himself referred to these animals as the worst of creation and blessed be anyone fighting against them. Anjem Choudhry and his ilk are Khawarij/ Khawarij supporters/ sympathizers. A lot of people who simply don’t like Islam don’t want to believe that but it’s the truth. The truth is people like Choudary do A LOT of harm to Muslims and Islam.

The few psychopaths that thought they could take on the Sikhs were obviously mistaken. They only made us stronger and prouder than ever before. I have educated myself, as well through universites. the more I read on it the more I see it's a reocurring theme among them. we would only need to fail once, for them to take the world back to the stone age, and loose all knowlage that has be acumulated. the times now are at a presipace as it was at the fall of the roman, Alexadrian empires and so forth. we let them write histroy for us, our stories will be lost to time our people forgotten and all that will be left is thier moon god. anything named Harram (anything not muslim) will be supressed and scattered like dust. but to many are self absorbed to see the writings on the wall.

Per definition a "Race is a social concept used to categorize humans into large and distinct populations or groups by anatomical, cultural, ethnic, genetic, geographical, historical, linguistic, religious, and/or social affiliation." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_%28human_classification%29 With that definition given, Muslims are their own race. Any westerners that convert are only that, converts, since most Muslims come from non-western countries which means shared "cultural, ethnic, genetic, geographical, historical, linguistic, religious, and/or social affiliation" with each other, but different from that of the UK and the western world. Muslims are also racist because they want to put up their racial laws (Sharia) on and within western society. However any one who opposes this, is also a racist. Which makes the whole issue of racism null and void and not about "phobias", but clash of ideologies.

I happen to be a physical anthropologist, a student any way. I got books on how to determine races in general from each other via skeletal analysis. Race incorporates ethnicity and they are social constructs, just as houses are social constructs. It's no fallacy that people can be divided into populations of various races, as defined above.
