Everyone looks beautiful today Chad, including you and your Darling! I love watching all this beauty evolve before while drinking my coffee and then heading out to a long day at work in the hospital. You and your beautiful farm sets the tone for my day and so my focus is on calmness and kindness. Your vlog rocks! Love the pond for the ducklings and geese, they look so happy! And Elvis and his crew look fabulous 🤩 and of course, the claw crew and Olive and Milky. This is all great! And not to forget Billy and Bobby!👏👏👏👏👍😻Take a bow Chad, great job although I see all this as more of a labor of love.❤❤❤

Your neighbor’s horses are gorgeous, you can tell they’re really thriving on this property. It’s good that you recognize your limits when it comes to horses, a lot of people are overconfident and underestimate horses and that’s a surefire way to get seriously injured. We’ve had soooo many people ignore our warnings to not approach the horses, mess around like idiots then cry when they get bit lol…

Enjoy your video I've been away from your channel for a while occupied with my own homestead, health issues, and my 13 year old dog that passed just 2 weeks ago.😭 My other dogs are taking the loss pretty hard. I have to adjust my work schedule for my animals and myself as I was getting burnt out. I am now retired after 28 years in the animal field vet hospitals, animal shelters, kennel technician....ect My chick are getting big need to put them in a bigger area. My two new adopted female ducks are doing well ...my male Pekin duck is very happy now he was getting lonely as his mate passed away few months ago... Never a dull moment. My barn cat brought me home rat on my doorstep. She has gotten some Chipmunks, mice, moles, birds.. she's quite the hunter... We had a long discussion about leaving the wild birds alone as she got a woodpecker and Sparrow. My vegetable and fruit garden is doing great Again great video keep up the great work❤

You can just grab a handful of grass for the horses. But be smart and feed them with your palms up and flat. What was that bush at the beginning of the video with orange flowers It's been a heatwave here in Casselman east of Ottawa, today finally getting some rain. Loved the time spent with Bubbles. I also did corn from seed in two of my raised beds, one regular sweet corn and the other pop corn. Corn doesn't transplant very well from my experience. Thanks for the great video, made my day loved seeing your Darling she should bring her smiles more often. YOUR THE DADDY 4 sure

I give em grass sometimes but I just wanted to film myself and didn’t get a chance before they move away. Those orange flower shrubs are azaleas. So far so good with the corn, time will tell but all the transplants are still ok. Wish us luck.

Do you live where you could get a dump truck load of rock/ pea gravel & composted dirt. It should work out to be a cheaper option than buying it by they bag. I can tell that by this fall you will need to top off your beds when you but them to rest over winter.

Good luck with your new round of goslings! I hope it works out better than the last batch. I think one issue that might be happening with your corn is, as someone else mentioned, they are planted way too close together! They need to be at least 8 to 10 inches apart. And the rows should be about a meter apart so that they can spread out as they grow.

Those geese have been growing up together and bonding… you may end up,with the same, problem you had before when you tried to separate the others and they freaked out because they were a bonded family… better to separate then when they are young like this than to wait until they are older and already bonded… and yes, geese mate for life… they go through severe depression when they lose their mates… many die from depression…

Yes I’m aware, trouble is there are Lillies all over the property but I do think that the dogs & cats just seem to know not to eat them. There’s also several other plants that are toxic in some way such as hydrangea, azalea and rhododendrons but fingers crossed we never have that issue.

@@HiddenSpringFarmthey aren't kittens, so let's hope so. Love how the dogs and goslings are together.

Watching with my 4 year old. N - “mom, our rabbits like aremiia?” Me - “yeah probably” N - “where is our aremezza?” Me - “we don’t have any yet” N - “we have to plant some for our rabbits” Me - “yep!” Your videos are a regular highlight of our day! My 4 and 2 year old love to watch.

The rabbits are sweet an all, but do they have a job like all the other animals? 😊❤

Rabbits have the job of providing our gardens with cold manure for fertilizer. Their unique poop does not need to compost and can be used in the gardens immediately 😉
