what an amazing Gent he is , every tractor had a story or it seemed like it , could watch for hours , so now its up to You 2 to carry it on , and he is right , for Doug it was the start of mechanization in farming and how things changed over the years , for me the round bail was a massive change

What a great guy. He seems to have a very personal relationship with each tractor. Hope he finds owners for all of the ones he is willing to let go. Thank you.

Great series! I love seeing these old tractors preserved. I was born in 72 so growing up and even into the 90s these tractors were still doing work, wether it was raking hay or auger duty. We used a Super M for anchor for the soft hose traveler as well. At home my dad use John Deere two cylinders, the biggest was the 70 diesel. I have that one yet. I still farm with two cylinders and a 4020. Great collection. I just wonder how a guy gets the time and money to collect and maintain a beautiful collection like that. Some days I would like to make my dad's old 70 into a show piece and drive it across the Mackinaw Bridge in honor of my dad who worked so hard to keep food on table during years when farming was not very much fun.

That was very nice of him showing his collection. I would love to have that Smta. We have a ford 860 with less the. 700 hours original hours on it.

Bring that nine speed home. You'd love it for raking hay.

How is that red bull doing, he should have stretched up a bit. Have you ever thought cross breeding with high health genetics like Viking reds, High health holstiens, Montbeliards and Jersey. Mind you Jerseys are prima Donna's and go down at the drop of a hat! 😂😂😂😂.
@danw6014 Жыл бұрын
I'll take Jerseys any day over our Holstein when it comes to their health and longevity. But if there's trouble going on in the barn you can bet it's a jersey up to mischief. I describe them to non farm people as something big in a little package.

4 legged vandals? Lol, I grew up with Reg Holsteins, and a few Brown Swiss. The latter were the instigators of problems. 😂🤠
