I dont know where they have said that they wont add p2w. From the interview with lvandmark what i understood was that they see p2w differently than how the large majority of pc gamers see it. They said that there would be cometic things to buy and also things for "convenience". It also seemed that they were going to be following the same monetary model of mobile which is where my comment leads, In mobile they sell the money used to buy everything and they even sell loadouts, but the whole mobile community sees it as not p2w because they say it will not give you a competitive advantage in raid. That is some of the worst reasoning i have ever heard from a community. If they add the same stuff they have on mobile to pc they will kill the game. The mobile community is just so used to having the worst p2w that when they see a cake that is still a shit cake but has frosting they think it is a real cake. If they want this game to be a real competitor to tarkov they cannot add all of that blatant p2w to pc.

In the mobile version you can pay directly to get more koen. There is also some monthly subscriptions for secure containers + some goodies like bonus koen everyday and more inventory space. You don't have any secure container as f2p. Afaik the only way to get it as f2p is buying rent tickets from seasonal rewards

This game is a breath of fresh air, felt like we were eating shit and now we're eating Caviar and Ravioli. Tarkov will always be so fun the 1st month of each wipe but tbh this game has so much replayability than tarkov, just the fact that you don't spend half your game time in your stash or in queues is already a huge selling point for any gamer with limited game time.

Yeah competition is good but I dont think this straight competes with Tarkov though. One of the things that makes Tarkov experience so unique is the way it handles "qol" by not having that. Also in ABI there are so many things that make it quite the opposite of tarkov in extract shooter genre. The lack of friendly nameplates, bag quickswaps, streamlined healing, indicators, hud compass, no friendly fire etc. are the reason I first fell in love with Tarkov and will still make me keep playing it since no other game does the same yet. Its a good thing games like ABI and Greyzone came out so players looking for more streamlined/easily approachable game are satisfied. However, I dont think it will make whole Tarkov playerbase jump because it's still not even close to what Tarkov does for that certain atmosphere and "manual" gameplay which at least I love and dont want ever to change in tarkov. Keep those "qol" features in other games and let tarkov be tarkov.

Honestly, Tarkov clones are long overdue. Even without the former's drama, i think new games that do the same have been needed for a long while. New takes on maps, new ideas of balance, trying out a different focus on whats important. Even if it was an objectively worse game, new games of the same idea are needed

According from what I’ve read from the mobile players (since this is technically a port of the mobile version) is that the monetization is quite fair and is more “pay to progress” than pay to win. You can get good loot in the battle pass but it isn’t anything a f2p player can’t get through just playing

Idk dude if the skills are anything like Tarkov experienced players find the heavy side effects of certain meds to be advantageous, in Tarkov metabolism is levelled per point of energy/hydration recovered, so the more you drain and replenish the quicker you level.

From what I've seen from ABI, it's about as much as a tarkov clone as you can get, down to the sound effects and reload animations, however...this clone is doing alot of things that is incredibly interesting I'll probably stick to SPT ABI just looks too much like pubg than a realistic shooter, none the less, impressive and good video as always fair Tx

Wait till you get to the armory. One tip btw when you pop painkillers before you fight, broken limbs don't hinder you. Broken arms = more recoil and shaky ads. Broken legs = limping

@@fairTX It's a difficult map to play in Arena breakout. All the AI there are elites. AI ouside of the bunker have T3 armor and t3 bullets (except for sniper ai, they have t4 ammo) and they have very good aim. When you get into the bunker you have to flip a switch and wait for it to open. This lets all the players in the map know that someone has flipped the switch in that gate. When you get inside the AI there will blow your arms off every time you peek them and you are slow to kill them, especially the boss there that kills you within 3 bullets if you have low level armor. The Elites inside the bunker carry t4 armor and have modded guns with t4 ammo. They also carry smokes when the boss is in the bunker, be careful because some of them carry nades. I've experienced a bot cook a grenade and not have time to flee from it. Lastly the boss, he carries t5 armor and t6 helmet. He spawns with either an RPK, Usas, MK14 that has drum mags and t4 bullets. The loot on the armory map is quite good though, 1 outside safe and a lot of boxes and natural loot spawns. Inside it's even better, 3 safes, a lot of drawers, trolis, jackets and natural spawns. When you have keys its even better because the bunker has 4 locked rooms. 2 keys and 2 keycards. I played the mobile version and it was that hard on that map, I think it would be harder in infinite but I would love to it and see you play and get good at it as you go. I learned a lot on that game so if you'd like info, I'm here to provide them.

Its better to not pick up the vest and helmet when its below tier 4. Most players use t3 above ammo so its useless when you pick up low tier items. You can also roll up the rigs and backpack btw

Typing this 6m in after you say "Making sure I don't drop my mag". I'm pretty sure you won't drop your mags in this. I think it was Jesse or Landmark was demonstrating that spent mags will go into an open space in your backpack or into the space left by the new mag. Maybe test it, or maybe you figure it out later in this video, but it's not the same as Tarkov.

Everything is free also on the mobile except the sure container, extra storage slots & skins; other than that everything else you need to play the functionally & enjoyable is free & grindable.... Also, play more convert ops when you're broke, you're not risking anything in that mode, you'll get a free gear to go for a raid that way you can earn some opens to get back on ur feet... One last thing, spend more time in shooting range, the most expensive gears & ammos won't do much of a help if you haven't trained ur aiming skills because at least even tho you might lose your gear in the raid but you're going to give ur opponents a tough fight before they have it.

Honestly, as someone who played the mobile version and has more than 900 hours (almost 1k). The game is suprisingly astounding. Yes, they hold your hand (not entirely) unlike in EFT, being known for it's almost realistic and hardcore milsim especially in the early beginnings but some mechanics and QOL that should have been in EFT was never included. And having to see them be introduced in ABI or in the mobile version is what makes AB a more updated game than EFT. I enjoyed EFT but having to play AB in mobile... IN MOBILE!!! Had me hooked since it was in beta then GLOBAL launch. So yeah, I enjoyed EFT but honestly it's time to move on and ABI is next best thing for an EXTRACTION game that is available to the public. Lastly, it's fucking FREE

I still play ABI everyday and enjoying the beta as much as I can even I struggle to get in raid with a good weapon loadout. It feels a bit weird, it's like the maps and everything is a miniaturized battleground. Might be because of UE5, I really don't know. Tarkov looks and feels more "realistic", wich I enjoy more (inertia still sucks tbh). But yeah, let's give them some time to think. Competition is good, I hope they will fight like lions to give us the best Extraction-Shooter experience possible. And for the F2P, I always am a big fan of a decent priced battlepass without P2W crap. P2W is the best way to kill a game on long terme imo. Great video, very nice solo raid. Keep it up !👌✌

Great content. I was in the exact same situation last night. Stomach gone and now surgery kit to be found. Glad you got out. BSG's window has closed I'm afraid. Tarkov has been in early access development since 2012 FFS.! The game should be in a much better state by now, and they've ignored all players except the most hardcore at their cost. ABI has now come along and just does everything better imho. QoL!
