Already said this in under a comment, but will say it again for anyone that is looking to try this game. Unlike tarkov, the basic scope for the mosin isn’t a viable optic here since people, as the video pointed out, wiggles around a lot. For sniper, mosin + 4x + like 10 rounds of the best tier 7.62x54r and you’ll be set. The cheapest 4x normally is the 4x/iron sight. You can bring way more ammo if you have a safe. This setup will give you the chance to 1 tap body of T4 and below, which is what most people like to run. T5+ is 50/50 whether the RNG is on your side. Speaking strictly from a mobile standpoint, suppressors are a nice gimmick to have, but it’s totally optional if you have good situational awareness for quick rotation. This is because unless you’re willing to spend as much money on the suppressor as you did on the mosin itself, any suppressor that you buy for a budget will tend to be shjt and reveal your position anyway. This is a budget kit that will help u get use to the sniping mechanic of the game and will statically yield way more loot value than the few times that u died will cost u. Some tips for sniping 1. If your going for a bolt action i suggest going with one that one shots on the chest 2. If your going with marksman rifle i suggest the svds as it has good ammo with high pen and you can usually make a cheap build for 50k or less 3. Wear armor which dosent slow your movement speed alot cause youll need to be constantly changing positions 4. Some weapons im personally a fan of in mobile for sniping are Svds, M110, SJ16 and mosin for when you go broke Also if you're sniping alone carry a sidearm Some general tips for abi 1. Always have smokes 2. Spend money on high tier bullets instead of gun modification 3. If you die repeatedly take a break 4. Use covert to learn maps instead of rushing to play them in tac ops 4. Always have a face mask and good headset Lastly dont forget to enjoy it

Tips from an AB mobile sniper: The 762x54 is the cheapest powerful round in this game, but never go below tier 4 ammo, if you can, always use tier 6. And use a better scope, as you noticed, people wiggle too much, and a higher magnification scope helps with that. And if you can, use the dragunov. Same ammo but with better cheap sights like the 10x PSO and with the possibility of doing follow up shots.

Mobile and PC are different. Bolt-action rifles are far more efficient when using a mouse. Plus, why would anyone use a DMR when you can use a bolty?

As I had a dragunov, I just quickly popped another round into his center mass before he could react and he was done.

I love finding creators who love sniping as much as I do. Sub earned. Also, yea u kinda need to double your patience, and you'll simultaneously get better at this game by playing more. I can't even tell you how many times I won fights, even 2v1 because I was patient, and the best part is, all I had was a mosin, nothing else. People ran with Chad gear and guns only to get one tapped straight to the head. So my tip for the day is : In open maps, 90% of the people will not use tier 5 full head covering helmets because it lowers visibility and vision, so, tier 4 ammo like M80 and LPS will one shot everyone to the face, doesn't matter if the helmet it's tier 5 when you shoot them on the face, as the highest current face mask for good helmets for open maps is tier 4. Or if you re extremely broke you could shoot them in the ear with the cheap ammo, still works, but way harder

Yeah...also not a lot of masks above T4 which I think is crap...and even if you do run >T4 masks, the helmet is almost all sound blocking with no headset compatibility except IND70 Heavy.

Ab player here, quick tip for sniping in ab, if you cant get the headshot the next best bet is a leg shot, breaks his legs thus he cant run unless he pops pk, and then you can easily take the kill shot as they limp away

The game is made for patience, you have faster stamina recovery, the gunplay is actually more easier too since you can sacrifice some missed shots for movement so that's why people move a lot in this game. Compare to tarkov, where gunplay is really difficult to master and you have to stand still to hit your shots.

I agree, I also like that energy and hydration doesn't decrease so much even when you're lower level. So you don't have to panick 15mins in because you had to use up all of your food and water due to running all over and not having high metabolism yet.

I will say, the main "issue" or "mistake" I see you making is distance. The sound in this game is VERY good so you need to maintain more distance, other wise every step, every breath, every sound you make they can hear too.. Players wiggle so much because of how easy it is to die in the game. All in all I enjoyed the vid. Never played Tarkov, so won't comment if it's better or worse than AB:I. Sniping in AB:I is very satisfying much like it is in GZW or even modded S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly.

Patience is key in this game. All the player kills I have gotten so far playing this game has been by getting the drop on people. I move super slow and cautious. Usually jump in after they engage in a fire fight.

I play in AB for since like the start of CBT global (maybe), watching streamers storytell their own experiences in ABI is what I love, and nowadays, AB is now growing and growing more than before. AB already had fun events while connecting the storyline and with ABI, the events in the PC mode will be even more fun as what AB mobile has considering Faction Wars where you fight against Colom or Tevila and also some Storm Warning Events that was currently on global right now. 3:25 real, as a sniper player in northrige (mobile version) i also sometimes have difficulty aiming to target because the character movements are so fast and the lack of an inertia system in the game makes it more difficult to aim at the enemy, and my solution for this is using gyroscope to aim Btw great video bro 🤙🏻

I got an absolute banger of a sniping raid the other day on farm. i was only using tear 3 ammo unsuppressed mosin and i killed 3 people who all just kept pushing the same doorway and then i found another dead guy with a T951 ended up being like a 700k raid

Sniping in ABI is alot harder since the gameplay is a bit faster. They move a lot and high tier armor is available as soon as the market opens. High pen ammo is also expensive and building out a good sniper is equally expensive.

For me the good thing about the HP in ab that i like is that if your hydration hits 0 you lose HP fast but you only drop to 7 HP thats 1 HP each limb and it won't get lower than that and if your hunger hits 0 you won't recover stamina and your stamina gets cut in half
