I’m SO sorry about the sciatica pain! I had a bulging disc for awhile and it was so hard to be a mom and deal with that. Praying that you can find relief for that soon. I love your style. Your fall decor looks amazing! You always know just how much to edit and how much to add. Good job!

Hi Cara, Thanks for another great video. Love the fall decor, I'm always especially interested as I live in a rural area so seeing what people buy/ browse at the store is helpful, since it's a mission to go shopping. Have you tried accupucture? I remember from one of your birth vlogs you're not a fan of needles... however it's really helped me a ton with my personal health. I live in a coastal area and paddle board, kayak, bike and do mom stuff - toddler lugging haha. Accupucture has really helped me. I go about every three weeks or once a month. That seems like a big committment, but it's helped me a lot to have less pain and more energy. For me it's about a 60 minute appointment. The person I see does some massage and once the needles are in he lets them sit and turns on heat lamps so it's very relaxing (probably hard to believe lol).

Oh I haven’t been to Our At Home store in a few years , it’s the next city over but I think I’m gonna go this weekend. Love the mantle but think you should keep the new blanket and swap it out with the existing one just for that small hit of fall color the new blanket has. It’s okay to have a few different blankets for different seasons in my opinion. I prefer JoAnns over Michael's too but always end up there due to closer location. But I love Hobby Lobby too--especially for things for my little girl's bedroom! I'm so sorry about sciatica pain. I have it too. I'm finally managing it reasonably well. I had to get a 90min massage every 2 weeks for about 6 months and then now I get a 90min maintenance massage once a month. I have not had a flare up in about 3 years. And I have a 6 month old and a 2 year old, so I can relate on how hard it would be to not be able to lift your children and care for them like you normally do. I hope you feel back to your old self soon!

I didn't really have an official "start date" for pre-school with her, but we're just continuing what we were doing before which is trying to do at least 1 activity book or flash cards etc. at some point during the day. Most days she wants to do a lot more than that tho, so I do as much as I can with her until she's done haha!

Cara have you tried the chiropractor? That is what made the difference with my sciatica. I'm so sad there are many youtubers that have stopped showing their children. Even though I understand why...I just loved seeing Quinn and Bria. God bless you honey.

Random but in my area our libraries "share" books and I can order through one library and they will deliver to another if that makes sense. Maybe ask your local library if they have that? I think candy corn has the texture of wax but just taste sweet to me. I wouldn't pick it but would eat it if offered to me 🙃 Feel better, thanks for sharing!!

I agree, candy corn is gross and tastes like candle wax. For the books, I don't have any recommendations as of yet but some of the ones you mentioned in the video sound good. The libraries in my county offer what they call an "interlibrary loan". If your "main"/local library does not have the book you want to take out but another library in the county does, you can request it through this loan. Your library will pick up the book from that town's library and you in turn pick it up/drop it back off at *your* library. And when you are done reading, you drop the book back off at your library who then sends the book back off at it's original location/library. So no extra traveling for you, just to/from your normal location-also it's free to use this program. I hope that makes sense! 🙂 Anywho, you can always check with your library to see if they offer anything like that in your area.

Hi Cara! So sorry about your pain. I was misdiagnosed with sciatica before they discovered I had an autoimmune called ankylosing spondylitis. You should look it up and see if your symptoms match it. Just sharing because I was in a lot of pain that looked like sciatica, chronically. Don’t want to scare you you or anything, just sharing in case your pain persists.

I’m 25 and have extremely bad sciatica and the doctor gave me a muscle relaxer because I kept having muscle spasms in my slipped disc and I take one and wake up the next more and the pain has gone. But, it does come back if I try and lift anything other than my kid who’s 4

Oh man, I love fall and fall decor so much, I'd love to do that, too. But I'm at the peak of all-day "morning" sickness and barely cope with the simplest tasks. Just hanging on. Hope I can still do some of it in October, where it is supposed to get better. Sorry you struggle physically, too, wish you health and a solution soon 🍀

I go to my chiropractor for adjustments when my sciatica is bothering me and it is a miracle. So you might look into going to a chiropractor and getting adjustment. I go to total health chiropractic and I think they’re all over the United States.

Hi Cara, I’ve read the Swan Abbey book and it was really good! I’m also really not a fan of spooky dark books, even though I love mystery so I feel ya on that! I think the book has a good element of suspense/mystery but is not overly spooky in my opinion! I hope you enjoy it 😊
