This english guy did a tutorial on Prince's Kiss. I was amazed at how simple the chords were. Thats what I like about the uke. You can learn hard-soundjng songs, then jazz it up with the strum pattern and chuking. You rock Stu!!

That was awesome, dude. I stumbled across you this evening while looking for someone to lead me on my ukulele journey. I have just watched a few of your videos, you are a great player and inspirational teacher and I really look forward to becoming a better player under your tutelage. I haven't looked but I think A Day In The Life would be interesting. That E7+5 just... umph! It's a nice spicy chord- and isn't too hard. The Eagles' cover of "Please Come Home For Christmas" plays *almost* identically! (the recordings are even both in A, and even both start with the E7+5!) On more than one occasion there's been a medley of this and "Please Come Home," they flow together so well!

Nice tune, well played and explained. I can't decide whether it is the mic or the strum, BUT. . . Damn that Chuck on the 4 is harsh, loud, and distracting. I play and teach it with an immediate palm-chuck with the edge of of the strumming hand to stop the ringing of the strings. It sounds blues-ier to me also. Omit the palm-chuck occasionally for dramatic effect, of course, as you feel it. Just try it. Thanks and. . . Strum On!
