Awesome solo at the end, dude. And another great simple lesson, although for us who already know the guitar a bit, this one is pretty simple. Not the solo at the end, mind you. I think my brains are still processing what you played as I'm typing this. :-)

Yeah, it's always a tricky balance between doing something rich enough to satisfy experienced players & also making a video lesson that's easy to grab. As for solos & such- I'm working on my next CD...

Yeah, it wasn't meant as criticism to you. It's just that I've played rock n roll/bluesy stuff mainly on guitar, so these chord progressions, shuffles and walking bass lines (not really a bassline on this instrument but you get the idea) are pretty much bread and butter to me. Helpful strumming tips again though. That is really what makes your lessons stand out: your focus on not just the timing and the position of the hand, but the motion and tension. Those really made a difference already in how my cheap 30$ uke sounds like a serious instrument - although it can do silly too, definitely :-P I'll go and check out your stuff, you are clearly a great player, and I like the styles you play :-)

gladtobeangry Oh sure, I understood what you meant ;-) And yes..."bass lines" on a uke are tricky!
