Beautiful rendition of a lovely song. Chord shapes are challenging on this one but well worth learning! Can you offer some advice on the strumming pattern for this? Sounds like a D U U DU but using your thumb for the down strums and forefinger for the up strums? It sounds perfect for this song. Thanks!

To lead a better life I need my love to be here Here, making each day of the year Changing my life with the wave of her hand Nobody can deny that there's something there There, running my hands through her hair Both of us thinking how good it can be Someone is speaking, but she doesn't know he's there I want her everywhere And if she's beside me, I know I need never care But to love her is to need her everywhere Knowing that love is to share Each one believing that love never dies Watching her eyes and hoping I'm always there I want her everywhere And if she's beside me, I know I need never care But to love her is to need her everywhere Knowing that love is to share Each one believing that love never dies Watching her eyes and hoping I'm always there Will be there and everywhere Here, there and everywhere

If I'm gonna play ukulele,do I need to leave long fingernails on my right hand?
@UkuleleZen8 күн бұрын
Not necessarily. You can strum with the flesh of the fingers just fine. The nails do offer some more tones and a crisp sound. I have a course all on this fingerstyle subject at www.stufuchs.com/store AND lots of free content at this channel. Be well and jam on!

So great to play that with the easy made shape. But your "metronome" hits my ears real hard - too hard 😢

Thanks for the feedback. I might have had it too close to the mic. I’ll tone it down for future tutorials like this one. Be well and keep on jamming - there is a ton of free content for you to enjoy at this channel 😊🎶

Love this song, and I look forward to trying out some of the fancy things you do. Our group likes to sing "My baby plays the guitar...I pick a ukulele now", and sometimes I like to pick the chords with the G,C,E,A,E,C,A,E strings.

Formby was a master!! Such clever songs and his playing is out of this world. I'll try to get to that solo someday...I DID cover some of his strum/solo ideas in this video -- check it out here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJ7Xd5hud5WfZ5o I also covered his "When I'm Cleaning Windows on this CD: www.stufuchs.com/stukulele

What's with the last few videos using AI generated thumbnails? I was excited because i thought my favorite uke creator had done a collab with another unknown UkeTuber or something. Cant help but feel a bit misled by it. --- if it was a spooky Halloween trick, it worked on me!
@UkuleleZen17 күн бұрын
I SO appreciate you watching and enjoying my videos! I’m trying some new things - not sure why my change in thumbnail design is misleading…was it because you thought it featured the person in the picture? Not arguing with you of course, just trying to understand. In my view “misleading” would be a title and thumbnail that promises a topic and then the video does NOT deliver on that intention. Again, thanks for watching…I’ll have some of my own old school thumbnails from time to time 😊 All the best and keep on jamming! -Stu
