The ghost is played by Patrick Horgan, best known for "Star Trek" and the TV soap opera "The Edge of Night". Reminds me of the "Mc Tavish" episode in which Darrin's parents stayed in the castle and the ghost scared Mother Stephens.

In the last 3 of the show's eight seasons, EM was kind of mailing in her performance. She'd wanted to leave at the end of Season 5, when Dick York had to retire, and was only convinced to stay with a huge pay raise. She fulfilled her contractual obligation, but her heart wasn't in the character anymore, feeling that everything that had been done with her already had been.

This episode is from season eight and is a favorite of mine. This ghost had a devious way about him/it. 🙂 He wanted to make it with Sam so, he inhabits Darrin's body, knowing she won't take action against him. Unlike McTavish, who only wanted a nice place to haunt, this ghost is doing the same thing that made him a ghost in the first the place, kissing around with a married woman. 😅 Sam finally knew how to deal with him. She followed her own advice and got him a lady ghost.

That was her real hair color, incidentally. She hated the dark wig that the show made her wear for her first few seasons as Louise. But she loved doing the show, and she was a huge supporter of its fans and their efforts to keep the spirit of the show alive until she passed away in 2006. She even called herself "The First Lady of Advertising."

I was somewhat disappointed by Netflix's Sabrina which the story seemed to keep spiraling. Hate that. Wish shows could be like this where they could move laterally and into other areas instead of having to constantly increase the tension. Really great acting in this episode!
