Nice truck. I didn't know about the under cab DEF tank. Good option. As far as the ultrashift, I've heard about a few drivers using the throttle to hold on hills and smoking clutches. Maybe a more education about the hill hold feature new owners?

one question... @@KenworthofRichfield if I could find a color selection on the KW site, I could tell you the code. it's that gold color from the truck on the kw driver academy video, maybe a burnt orange. read on a site one can configure their T680 on the KW site, but not seeing it.

What’s the reason for 6 axles? Is the gvwr over 80,000?

Most likely not, I got a 6 axle T800 and even with the 5% over load sticker I can only haul 71,925lbs. That's here in VA. I know 7 axles with the 5% can haul over 80,000lbs in VA. Also remember it plays a big part of what suspension you have also. And it varies state to state.

Ron, for us, it's bridge. With 6 axles on this wheelbase, we can haul 69,500. If it was just the tandem, 55,500.

Love the vids....but like mack in the 30s/40s they made some pickup trucks.....kenworth should try a stab in the pickup truck market.....some of these work trucks just suuck..... kind of like the middle 2000s Chevy heavy duty trucks....one I worked in was a 3500 HD with a utility bed and the transmission flip its shit and we had to turn truck off and back on to reboot the trans all because we were towing a man lift mind you it was small enough for the truck to handle as I know those bastards get heavy......
