In todays video, I finally found a mammoth octopus and he was actually a super kind fellow! What was your favourite find of today guys!? Mine was for sure that GIANT TEXTILE cone shell, It is the largest ive found to date!!

Absolutely awesome footage on the octopus. Yes they can bite a decent hunk of flesh off you with their beak, however, their inking is probably the worst you would encounter. Thank you so much for this, octopus is one of the most intelligent creatures on the planet. Great cone too! Happy for you!

That was wonderful! Octopus can be far larger than that one.!They are very intelligent and he was curious about you. If you were patient, he would touch you and they can sense many things with their tentacles. They amazing creatures!

All the shells are amazing and the octopus was definitely way cool. Those scallops are amazing! I can’t believe that make it past those rocks without breaking up. I go crazy when I find a red scallop whole, even if it’s tiny, yours was so big! 🤗🐚🐚🐚🐚

I’m in southwest Florida and our scotch bonnets are a bit different. Yours are gorgeous!! And yes octopus do bite if they want! They have a beak it took me 3 months to heal a bite on my wrist!

Do you get Netflix TV in Australia/Queensland? If so, look for a movie/documentary called "My Octopus Teacher". You'll learn all about them. It's an amazing film.

Another nice video. Your "egg cowrie" is a Bubble Shell, Bulla ampulla likely. They are actually more closely related to those sea hares you keep finding than cowries. Also, many octopus can bite.They have what looks like a beak, so you should be mindful of that. And of course you do have Blue Ringed octopus in your area. They are tiny, but of course potentially lethal.

I found you at random I just love sea shells and this summer I got super lucky and found 2 Queen Conches both empty in Key West Florida. I also found a ton of baby ones some gorgeous coral pieces and tons of other cool shells I also found the skeleton of a eurchin. I’m sure you don’t need any of the shells I probably have but if I have any you can use I’d be happy to send em to you. I love your videos and only wish I lived near an ocean. Unfortunately Kansas is not an Ocean state.
