My sanity is shaking with the amount of "popular boy fall in love with the bullied girl" movies I have watched. Can't people stop with this cliché genre and give us something different too? Though I still watch it but man, I will be happy to see "bullied boy fall in love with a bullied girl" too. Something that unusually happen in movies, but will be amazing. OK so a lot of people are giving their opinion on this comment I made, so I'll love to give mine too. I never said I hated this concept of dramas. I never said I'll stop watching them. I never said they should stop making this. What I mean is for them to change genre, that would make us to be curious on how it will end. Movie concept like popular boy fall for bullied girl is a very popular concept that we all know how it will end, but still watch it for the dramas within. But why must the bullied need a popular person to help them before they can stand for themselves? Why can't a bullied boy ever fall in love with a girl that might also be bullied? Since love knows no boundary. They can work it out together to tackle bullying and not necessarily need someone popular to do so. Now this will bring curiosity to the viewers on how they'll tackle bullying and stand up for themselves without the help of someone popular in their school.

A lot of people seem to be put off by the fact a lot of asian movies or dramas, or just in the film industry in general, have a common theme: where the popular boy falls in love with a bullied girl. For me, I actually like it. I get that some people try to get deep with it and look at it in a different meaning, but you gotta remember these are just fictional stories and fantasies. Plus, nowadays a lot of modern works have new plots and different themes from this. I just like these types of plot because it never gets old to me and as someone who has always been insecure and rejected, these types of plot always make me lowkey excited. I get it though that it's repetitive and boring for some, or some people think they make a bullied person seem weak and that they need someone strong and popular, but tbh it's just a fantasy and made up story for people like me to enjoy.

I actually like Manga a Lot better than the Movie. Here in Movie, Uka is too insecure to be with Kai and get's insecure after knowing Serina. BUT in Manga, Uka have felt the Gap between her and Kai many times. But she never gave up trying to be the best of herself and Kai always helped her by just giving her a Lil push. That's all it needed for Uka to go on & Find her own way. In Manga, she is a Strong character who is determined to find her position in that school. Making friends, taking leadership in school festivals and trips, trying to be friends with her bullies (even though it wasn't appreciated by many at first and tried to demotivate her). I actually learned a lot from Uka in the Manga. And the way she always worked hard to herself and others, how she looked after her friends, how she wanted her school life to change... It also Changed Kai. It made him want to put more effort in school (so that the teachers would know they both are not a distraction to each other), It made him want to get approval from her Dad, and Also made him wanna have a good stable future. They Both Made each other stronger every time💜. It's just beautiful. It's still ongoing, BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!! The movie....idk...I didn't like it personally.

Where was my Kai when i was in school?! I relate to the girl because i was the same. Let alone having friends i was always bullied and made fun of, by people. Later on i was majorly bullied by guys. They just had such a lack of empathy. I was always picked on and since i had no friends i was more so an easy target for boys to pick on. One thing that i have noticed is that guys never bully girls who have friends. They only go for girls who sit alone and mind their own business. Coz girls like that are powerless, since we dont have anyone to back us up. Girls who have friends be it a guy or a girl, they're generally respected. It sucks how boys treat others in school. Girls might backbitch about you, But boys, are just pure evil. They bully you mercilessly and that hurts more than people talking shit about you behind your back. I wish there were more respectful and gentle guys in the world like Kai. I am not saying you have to be super sweet to every girl you meet but atleast dont disrespect them.
