A Gloucestershire Walk - From Eastcombe to Stroud

This video defines a walk from Eastcombe to Stroud, Gloucestershire, via Toadsmoor Valley, Mackhouse Woods, Claypits Lane, and an area known locally as "Weyhouse" (not labelled on maps), entering Stroud via Horns Road.

From Eastcombe Green to Toadsmoor Lakes this was the later part of the Manor School senior cross country run ......... except we ran up ..... then over the top to the recreational field before leaping over a gated fence into the school playing field. ......... a nightmare ...... where did it start from you might ask ...... Manor school of course down the vatch and into Toadsmoor lake ....... its still all beautiful ...... whatever the weather ....

Hi. I think The Heavens is immediately adjacent to Claypits Lane. My grandmother, born 1900 died 1988, lived most of her life in Horns Road, Stroud, where she and her neighbours referred to the steep-sided valley below Stroud Cemetery as "The Weyhouse".
