1968. Only a year...after Justin Hayward, the writer of The Moody Blues track, 'Forever Afternoon (Tuesday?)', or sometimes called, 'Tuesday Afternoon'. He wrote it, after a visit to Lypiatt Park, (just east of Stroud a short distance), when revisiting it, after having grown up in Stroud, as a memory to his childhood, when his mother would bring him to the park. I could just imagine. Justin Hayward actually being at this festival then. The track...is a classic staple on the airwaves, and is quite beautiful. Bravo for this post. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
