French furniture is exquisite of the highest quality and quite in demand especially to those of French heritage. I have several fine French pieces one from the latter part of the 1700's, with a wooden profile of Marie Antoinette and one of Louis XVI, with a profile of a pig wearing a crown. Included in the piece you can find a well hidden compartment probably meant for jewelry or precious stones. This piece was probably created for a nobleman who was partial to the French Republic and instrumental in the French Revolution of 1789.
