Parisian here : this is not what we'd call a "flea market", which are more like garage sales. These are (obviously) professional antique/vintage designers boutiques whose clientele are wealthy people/luxury hotels, etc... In short : you don't go there to try and find something cheap and cute for you appartment. You go there, freak out when you see the price tags, and leave pretty soon after to go to a nicer part of town because the area is shady.

@@mizzlopez5660 Well, the « puces de Saint Ouen » (the name of the place they’re at) are still worth visiting if you love design, it’s like going to the biggest open-air museum, you could easily spend a day there without even seeing it all, like a little adventure. But again : bargains are really hard to come by (especially when you’re a tourist) and the vicinity isn’t the best.

As a professional commercial interior designer, I’d say as great as this place is you’re never going to find a bargain there, you’re always going to pay top whack, especially when you don’t really try to bargain.

It's a common glass shape. What he is referring to is the person who made it (the stamped mark at the bottom). That alone determines the value between $5 and $300. Yes it's kind of silly because the vase looks exactly the same. The art world is often more about names than aesthetics.
