A Good 3D Printer for Kids & Beginners? Easythreed K7 Review

Your speach is beautiful, calm and structured, the set is professional, video is just a top quality Got this big small boy used yesturday after confirming this is what i need after watching your video, i understood everything, you helped to set it up and to start. I wanted to have a 3d printer for years and entry level ones seemed like a toy. This video helped me to make my mind, like a big brother walked me through this path . -. Hi, since you have the k7 try to print out a vertical alignment plate as an upgrade for the Y axis because the K7 has a lot of play which causes the little missing lines you get in the model, I got the K9 recently and they fixed it by adding bracing to all axis. Cheers.

I have a Easythreed K9 and this was a pretty fair assessment of the K7. Once you learn it and the slicer software (Usuallu CURA, though Easythreed also provides one called Easyware which is real bare bones) you can improve quality a little. Big thing is they are slow, CURA gives a estimated time but its pretty much always wrong, as a rule of thumb just double its time (if it says 3hrs figure at least 6hr.) also the sample filament they give you isnt the best, get a better filament.

I think a very important question should be...... why does the bed leveling go out of wack for every print.............what is happening?.....what would happen if the springs were removed under the bed and solid spacers substituted for them,.......then the leveling can be set with small increments of thin washers to get it set.......if the setting still varies then it's in the Z axis and that is the area that must be addressed once and for all.......I personally think that there is some variation in the Y axis or cross beam and it is moving out of level each time.

I'd say it's pretty good but for just a hundred more you can get a creality ender with features like automatic bed leveling.

It's a really shit printer but I have one just to take around and show people about printing. At home I have the real stuff.
