School project I've been working on for almost half a year. Decided to do the classical thing of animating the song A Gorey Demise, by the amazing band Creature Feature.
All animation is done in Flash.

I know it really sounds like Olive, I've always thought it was that as well, but to be 100% sure with the names I went to Creature Feature's homepage where the lyrics of their songs are available and it said Olivia. Maybe they changed it later on, but that's what it said.

@@InsectMansion Well, here's the story: I saw this video that illustrates this song using clips from other media (Disney movies, non-Disney animated movies, video games, a couple clips from Total Drama, even one from Ed, Edd n' Eddy). Now, whenever I watch a new Gorey Demise video, I always get excited to see what people use/draw for the "Greg" part, but here, I felt like what they used for that part just didn't fit. It was from some animated movie I didn't recognize; one character collapsed, and another caught him before he hit the ground. No matter how hard I used my imagination, I just could not see how it matched the line it was paired to, so I decided to ask the creator of the video about it. Apparently this person thought the line was "G is for Greg who died of a wound". I said, "No, it's 'G is for Greg who died in the womb'.". Then they said, "Ever seen Disney's Mulan? You think they said, 'The general's been wombed' or 'The general's been wounded'?". I kept telling them that the line from the song is "G is for Greg who died in the womb", and even looked up the lyrics on Google to be sure. They said, "You must be like those people who think Aladdin said 'Good teenager, take off your clothes' instead of 'Good kitty, get up and go'." I finally lost my patience and said, "You wanna bet the line is 'G is for Greg who died in the womb'?", and they replied, "How about you're not allowed to comment on this video anymore if you don't get what I'm saying". Then they apparently blocked me. To this day, I'm still not sure.

@@InsectMansion Thanks. (News flash: It still says Olivia) Oh, and you know something? Out of all the deaths in this song, Greg's is my favorite, because it's not only the most terrifying out of all of them, it's terrifying in a different way than the others. It's terrifying imagining our own death, even more imagining that it's a painful, terrifying one like the ones in this song. But perhaps most terrifying of all is imagining dying before we were born. Can you imagine your life ending before it even began? Never growing, learning about the world around you, even breathing air? Never even realizing your existence, because you can't make memories? I certainly can't imagine it, even though my parents have told me I was born prematurely, and they were uncertain I would make it. That's why Greg's death is unique from the other ones in this song. If it were "G is for Greg who died of a wound", it's okay, but it doesn't have the same uniquity. It's the same level of terrifying as the other deaths. Matter of fact, someone in this comments section recorded exactly how each situation killed each character, and they found that the majority of the deaths were caused by blood loss. That means Greg's death would be yet another blood loss death in this song. So yeah, I think it's a lot better as "G is for Greg who died in the womb".

Try the alphabet this song was based on. "A is for Amy who fell down the stairs, B is for Basil, assaulted by bears, C is for Clara who wasted away..." I can't remember all of it. I know someone "died of ennui" (boredom), someone was '"done in by a thug", and I think someone was "swept out to sea", and I know the last one, Zillah, "drank too much gin".

Marie's house was set on fire by an arsonist Nicki was bullied physically by the same person who bullied Larry and Kimmy Olive, died of a drug overdose after being peer pressured Glass was placed in Pat's food and she didn't know Quentin was walking in the woods before someone murdered him after taking a wrong trail Reyna, wasn't given any food or water while she was in jail, she was framed for having to kill Pat Steve stood with an apple on his head but one who shot the bow clearly shot him in the head on purpose. Tori, was sent outside by her brother to go buy things, her brother know there was going to be a blizzard. Someone rode a horse over Urich on purpose Vanessa, who was drunk, was told by her friend that she could fly. So she tried to fly by jumping of the roof Will was walking home at night when someone intentionally ran him over Xavier was pushed into a tar pit Yessi fell off a plane because her copilot pushed her And Zach, killed them all.

This is surely based in Edward Gorey's "The gashlycrumb tinies" an alphabet book, where each letter was exampled with a child's death, even there's a death that's equal to one in the book in the verse "M is for Marie who was burn to a crisp" meanwhile the book's death was "R is for Rhoda consumed by fire" as you can see they both die the same way: by fire
