Losing to Academy was painful, but it was cool to see the R/G archetype put in some honest work!

Four 11 card packs is a quite reasonable fix, look forwards to seeing some. With six players the Wheel is seen on pick seven not nine, the effect this has on 'last seen at' and how that affects card quality/power density is quite warping to a draft.

its funny how every other video there's one card in the sideboard that he just says "i'm not playing this" and yeets out of the deckbuilder like he cannot stand the sight of it.

As crazy as it sounds, I think the off colour mox pick P3P1 was incorrect. The deck already had a bunch of 0-2 mana acceleration, whereas the card draw/pressure offered by MNB would have added more to the deck

maybe, but passing a mox in a team draft is a bad idea I think just too powerful

I agree, I think more people should be passing off color mox's. an ancient tomb is better than an off color mox.

I would agree if it were a random modo pod, but in a team draft, sometimes you do prioritize picks to deny the opposing team a good card vs a better card that would fit better in your deck. In this case, the "worse" card was still a Mox and absolutely playable in our deck. That's a better situation than a lot of hate picks. Ultimately, your individual win rate doesn't matter as much as the win-rate of your team vs the opposing team, and denying their team a Mox at the cost of losing out on Minsc & Boo is absolutely worth it.

I love that eternal witness/kolaghan's command loop, I have taken advantage of that when playing tabletop Jund. It's just the right amount of unfair to be fun for everyone

There was a really sweet mono-red Sligh deck here, but it's not LSV's style. Ragavan, Swiftspear, Figure of Destiny, Grim Lavamancer, Char, and a bunch of other low CMC burn spells? Would have been sweet to dunk on people with Swiftspear into double mox into talisman into a bolt to put the opponent at 12 life before their first turn. 😂

I would have thought imperial seal wasn't a bad pick already having bonfire and decent acceleration (assuming I made the same picks as lsv until that point)

Pile of efficient but mostly mediocre cards, fair gameplan and inherent card disadvantage makes top deck tutors bad in this deck

Is it just me or was the G1 concession slightly early? We could have played questing beast and nugged for 4 + killed the planeswalker? like sure, he has a ton of mana, but he clearly didnt do anything with it, and we still have a bunch of spells in hand.

Well, they're actually opening fewer total cards, they just get more first picks, weaker wheels

@rekenner I know but an extra round of high picks should help the boring midrange soup decks that 3v3 tends to produce, who cares that there are fewer wheels I a pack that has nothing for you anyway ya know?
