Also PLEASE remember to thank artists as soon as you see the attack or revenge you get 😭 I attacked an artist and they never thanked me regardless of being active, I checked other attacks they got and there was no thank you or anything, it takes two seconds to do 😭😭

I had the same thing happen! The attack was so personal for me too because I had an OC of mine interacting with them because they were similar species and color schemes. It was super cute and it made me a little sad that they said nothing 😭

When I entered the page I uploaded a character and attacked someone and that person maked a revenge, but I left as soon as I did the attack so I didn't see the revenge until today and I feel bad for not thanking him in the moment 😭😭😭

The most fun part of the game for me is people's happiness with the art I make for them, if I get art in return it's a pleasant surprise. and yeah I learned to prepare before the game starts the hard way...

First year doing artfight and strangely enough, as in i didnt expect it, it pushed me to draw things/characters i never have before and never planned to because the characters are so wonderful looking and the excitement about the whole event encourages me. Like ive never drawn feral characters before but i surprised myself how easy it came to me and how much i enjoyed it 😭

I love watching those newbie ArtFight videos despite this being my 6th year. You genuely mentioned a lot of important things that I haven't really seen other peoples mention! (example: ping people in replies to "reply" and that only one person in the mass attack needs to be from the other team to get full points. later I wasnt even sure about myself and is super ensuring since i am planning a mass attack this year ;w;) I might attack you if I get around to it your ocs seem super fun to draw! happy artfight! :D

I've been wondering what it means when someone draws "feral" If its a dumb question i can look it up myself but if you can answer it here thatd be neat!

Hi! "feral" in this context means an animal that walks on 4 legs/has the anatomy of that animal in the wild. Anthro would mean that animal standing on 2 legs like a human. So an anthro cat would be a furry-like animal, but feral would be a regular cat, if that makes sense!

Heyo! Just a question, I notice that you’re able to fill in your linework via color drop in the footage here but it also ends up as a separate layer? How does one do that, it looks like an INCREDIBLE convenience! Usually I have to do separate linework underneath the actual linework! Also yay fellow Team Seafoam :)

Hi! Set the lineart layer to "reference" :3 then when you fill on any layer it'll fill in what is on the lineart layer!

I was also wondering, but from the opposite side. I've seen people mention some artists reposting the art they received onto their Toyhouse or other social media and my question is if that's an accepted thing? What's the etiquette on how you're allowed to use the art? I don't really want people reposting my art without explicitly asking and telling me where (for example because I don't want it scraped for AI training among other things). If I wrote "please do not repost without permission" in the description, would that be reasonable or does it go against the spirit of gifting art?

Yes you can upload them! There aren't many restrictions about TYPE of art! I'd glance over the rules just to see but 3d art is completely allowed
