I know it's humor and a video game, but... While I also love putting Astarion in his place, it's not just smelly blood, it's the fact that he trafficked his body for Cazador for 200 years and this is reliving that trauma. Convincing himself to give out his bodily autonomy for someone else's desires. Astarion was essentially a sex trafficking victim for a couple centuries. That's my 'well akshully' for the day. Great video! Excited for more pallete swap.

You know, I genuinely thought that Baldur's Gate 3 wouldn't come out when it was in Eearly Access. Even when it was only confined in its first act, I really enjoyed it, and I thought: "This game is aiming for too much, it probably won't come out. It has been two years after all. But I really do like it for what is right now." And then, to see it get announced and released to fanfare just restored my faith in these kinds of games. These large-scale games can take their time to be fleshed out and not end up trapped in an Early Access Avernus or be released half-baked without reaching its vision or goals. They just need time, passion, and resources.

A decent game. I can give it an 8/10. Story started great but got disappointing, combat is great and the rest is just decent.
@yugioh3958 ай бұрын
If this is a 8/10, what on earth is a 9 or 10/10??? I can respect your personal proclivities towards the games you enjoy, but bg3 can only really be considered a 10/10 if you’re trying to be objective. I mean the scope and ambition of the game should have doomed it to a complete failure, and yet it completely triumphs on nearly every metric. I agree it’s not a 10/10 on EVERY metric; better stories exist, and I wish the tutorial was more robust. But no game will ever be perfect, and to me, a 10/10 video game just means it’s a landmark release that is so good in the overall sense that it is going to either invent a subgenre of games, or just be the benchmark of what similar games are compared to. (Btw I have only played after multiple patches released, so I’m not aware of early bugs)
@michadomeracki59108 ай бұрын
@@yugioh395 10/10 would be a masterpiece, something game changing and BG3 is not in my opinion. 9/10 is almost a perfect game and to be honest BG3 is not 9/10 either. The story at the beginning was really strong but got way weaker, choices are not that impactful and many characters were just weak especially male companions. The main problem is the modern journalism that gives 8s, 9s and 10s to everything that is AAA. I don't play modern AAA games because they are garbage and modern journalism giving to modern games perfect scores is a joke. I play strategy games and Indie and this is where to find good games. I reject the modern standards and for sure I can not praise BG3 for the lack of microtransactions, I just refuse that crap. 8/10 is a great game and BG3 is a great game indeed.

Crony Capitalism is the problem, not Capitalism. Capitalism is the worst form of economy until you compare it to all other forms of government/economies in the world. You come off as naive with the ending of your list where you should have just put Crony Capitalism or Executives are the worst, rather than taking a shot at the most successful, but flawed, form of economy in the world to date. Loved the rest of our video and agree that Larian Studies is the best gaming atm.
