How nice to see a reactor watch a background video like this one. You're right about S.O.S. - there are so many Dimash performances of this song preserved in videos. From 2012 - 2021, you can hear his already amazing voice developing from year to year into something unrepeatable. S.O.S. is his calling card, and it really should be given to him. He's earned it through years of blood, sweat, tears, and sheer force of will. Congratulations to you as well on the growth of your channel!

That was fun. You should watch some of his documentaries. He mainly was brought up by his grandparents. His parents were performers as well. I can guess Dimash even surprised them. As genius as he is people sometimes forget how smart he really is. Docs, masters, the guy was blessed

Some songs you've been missing from this video is "Drunken Concubine" with Li Yugang, "Screaming" idol hits version, "Jasmine". Plus, his concerts are absolutely amazing, there are 3 of them on his YT channel - highly recommended!

in the "drunken concubine" song, it wasn't vocal fry, but rather it was a growling technique (some bass singers use this technique, including Tim Foust from Home Free). His song immediately after was more vocal fry, 3rd song was lower register. His singing in "screaming" was chest voice into falsetto. Dimash is probably the BEST male singer that I've ever heard. with a solid CLEAN low to high range. He practiced/trained his butt off. To have such a high whistle note... is insane. I can't even do whistle notes... yet.

I totally agree with you. His lower registers are magnificent. To keep control over low notes with those wide wobbly chords as opposed to the tight chords for the high notes. Well it takes immense control for the low notes. I’m impressed by all he does but the low notes just blow my mind. He has dedicated his entire life to the smallest of details. His father and mother and sister are all at the top of his game.

When I was studying Korean, I discovered that native speakers of an Eastern language with the emphasis on tone control were all good if not great singers, as long as they had not damaged their vocal chords with bad practices, or had at least a properly formed vocal organ. That the phenomenally talented would be phenomenal does not in any way surprise me.

Now you should dive even deeper..into the song that rarely suggest by Dears or his performance or fancam that actually extremely amazing.. For example Bolevishkaya pusha ( using zeres channel video or the one where Dimash wearing white suit) Okinish (fancam, find the one with english sub, Dimash composed this song and perform it just once on this particular concert (shenzen concert) ) Endless love (using druppy channel version) Autumn strong (shenzen concert and London concert) (both fancam) Only then you will relize what you have watch till now just only a corner and just a tiny bit of what he really is. 😊
