Something about Saturn's regeneration and the "miasma" that swirled around it is that it all happens in a swirling pattern. All the official Devil Fruit patterns all include swirling patterns. It's just a crazy theory, but I would wager that Saturn's Devil Fruit experiments has allowed him to go beyond a simple Awakening. Zoans have been described as having insane regeneration and recovery, maybe he's just taken it to the next level. That or the real out there theory of Saturn and the rest of the Gorosei being actual devils is true lmao.

Ever since I saw him in that form and heard he was the “science” guy, I thought he might just have figured out how to pick and choose as many powers from as many fruits as he wants and the combination of all of them happens to look like the Ushi Oni but goes beyond that in terms of abilities.

I like this theory, but what if, that he bent the „will“ of the DF to his own will, to gain complete control of it. Like his DF could have been originally just the normal tarantula zoan but because of his research and training he broke the „will“ of the DF and can mutate it and control the stats basically. At one moment full power to regeneration at another, full power on punching

Assuming the Gorosei are indeed just regular humans with Mythical Zoans, I'm thinking it could that Im was the first to receive the eternal youth operation. Then over the centuries the Gorosei became devoted followers of Im, and also received the same operation one by one.

Well the simplest answer would be to shoot Saturn with a Sea Prism Stone bullet. He's immortal not invulnerable. Then chain him to a boulder with more sea prism stone and toss him to a volcano, making sure Saturn lands on the magma under the bolder.

10:31 when I think about Saturn’s power, I think about how he first appeared on the battlefield. It almost appeared, like he was being summoned there. That that form was being summoned. And I wonder if he keeps on summoning himself, parts of himself. Or if it really is just some boring regeneration thing that we’re going to have to sit through on every Gorosei.

I think an interesting angle that I haven't seen talked about yet is the fact that bonnie was given her devil fruit powers from Saturn by unknown means, but why? Like I assume they know a little bit about devil fruit reincarnation so they could probably test there way of giving devil fruits on Bonney and then kill her afterwards to get it back. But, they gave her a really powerful fruit, I feel like they could've just given her any old insignificant zoan but instead they gave her the age age fruit a very obviously powerful fruit especially with the different forms. Now maybe they didn't know about these forms but, I mean come on Saturn ain't dumb, im ain't dumb there had to be a reason.

I think you are on the right path. Emotions have power in One Piece and i suspect that Imu uses them as her main power which could mean that Saturn is weak to an emotional charged attack. Sanji and Franky are both emotional dudes and if Sanji was correct about Diable Jambe and it was his passion that ignited his leg that would be an emotional charged attack. This could indicate that Luffy's Red Hawk and Red Roc also have the emotion element in them. So it would be poetic justice if Luffy takes Saturn out with an flaming Axe kick.

5:29 I remember reading a series where it turned out the first 4 volumes were the "prologue." At the end of it, just about every character was killed and later reincarnated some 20 years later as similar but still slightly different people. I felt betrayed then, I could only imagine how I'd feel after 1000+ chapters if that happened lol. I don't even remember the series as this point.

I always wondered why Oda gave Blackbeard a DF that can nullify DF powers if he's gonna introduce haki soon after, a power that if strong enough can pretty much make DF powers useless to some extend. Now it makes sense. He's the one who's gonna kill Imu after the Straw Hats defeat him and he's gonna steal his DF power which I am assuming will be the strongest Zoan DF in existence.

Well its the small difference between nullifying powers and simply being immune to powers. EX somebody holds Akianu useing haki, Akainu can still turn his fist into Magma to attack them, vs if Black Beard holds Akianu useing his DF AKianu cant fight back useing his powers. So if luffy were to enter his awakening and get caught in Teachs Black Vortex luffy would revert back to basicaly a normal human insatntly.

Considering how in Japanese folklore was defeated by somebody first blowing on a conch which frightened the Gyuki and then was sliced with a sword then perhaps Laffite hypnotise the Vice-Admiral that may have the otter Zoan who has the conch staff to blow the conch on his staff and then Laffite will use his sword to slice Saturn killing him.

I remember a old youtube video about how to kill immortals. For someone with a wolverine healing factor you would have to obliterate him or drown him and deny his body oxygen so his cells can reproduce. Or have a long lasting poison like ionized metal to cause rapid aging. Then there are other immortals like the worm that survive because they want to live. You have to make death a better option for them. Wish I remember the video, might have been film theory.

Yo so, thinking about "where is the power coming from" is something that makes me certain that Enel is going to return to the story. Alright, who's the one supernova who still hasn't been fleshed out? Urouge, the guy from the same sky island as Enel, whose power is "absorbing damage and turning it into strength". What if the Gorosei have the perfect versions of the Karma fruit, where they can just regenerate based on how much damage they receive and how "just" they think they are. So just like momonosuke, what if Urouge ate an imperfect version of the fruit that the gorosei all ate, based on tech that seems futuristic but is actually from hundreds of years in the past?

The thing about regeneration is that in other to regenerate a part of you. You need the space to do it. So just chop him up and block his body from regenerating.

I always come up with my best/favorite ideas while listening to tekking and something he says makes a bunch of dots connect. Around 9:30ish my rash conclusion is gorosei are similar to a lich in that no matter what you do theyll come back unless you find their phylactery. Maybe its on a ship? Maybe its on the red line? Didnt have any thoughts like that until tekking said certain words in a certain order.

Matt, have you ever seen Fairy Tail??? If so than remember Tartaros arc? They had a thing called a hell core device, so in One Piece, who's to say that Oda won't put something like that in the story. The hell core device in Fairy Tail took the demons of Tartaros that were destroyed, and put them into rehabilitation tubes to regenerate because they were damaged beyond their personal regenerative capabilities. Imu could have something similar to that for the Gorusei if they get damaged beyond their regenerative capabilities, then they get teliported to Marijoise, to some rehabilitation tube in order to heal.

I'm not too sure if this is a theory yet, but what if saturn never left the ship? And this is in fact just a summon of his will? Sort of like an avatar. Would explain his chill diminor about not being able to be harmed, and the Smokey regeneration is just the summon rebuilding itself. This could make saturn way more dangerous becuase he could literally be anywhere, and you have no way of killing him unless you find his actual body.

Something I think would be interesting if Oda goes the power was from Imu route, is that Saturn gets defeated because Imu took the powers away, either due to his failure or due to a fear that it'd be lost if he dies. I think it'd be cool if when the power is taken it was redistributed between the other Gorosei, making it so the more you defeat the stronger the rest get
