Thank you so much for this video. I have just started on my soaping journey so your advice is really helpful. I have been buying from Mid-West Fragrances. Their fragrances are really strong Out Of Bottle. I think they get better with age. This was recommended to me by “Soap and Clay”. She also does a comparison. BeScented is my current fav place to buy from. Sierra Candle has some amazing fragrance right now, with pricing in line with BeScented and WSP, who I also buy from regularly. Oatmeal Milk & Honey, Eucalyptus Spearmint (BeScented) and Black Lavender and Amber by Sierra are my favorite and most used. This is a fun and interesting video. Thank you!

Love each and every details you given about these essential and fragrance oil. Me personal. I would love to try fragrances oil for different reasons. Like bodywash body butters and ofcourse body scrub to incorporate some fragrance oils into bodywash foaming bath soaps. You name some pretty good fragrances oil. Thank you so much for this video. I have been having fun making bath bombs and shower steamers. But I have found some of my bombs and steamers are discoloring. Could this be anything to do with the oils? I think I read somewhere Vanilla can do this. Or a reaction to air, as they aren't shrink wrapped ?

Never heard of a bomb/steamer oxidizing & discoloring from being wrapped, so I don’t think it’s that. Perhaps it could be from vanilla? Although I’ve never experienced this, I have heard of it. That makes the most sense

they do have some very nice scents! Black amber lavender, cocoa butter cashmere, and a few others of theirs I tried last year and loved! Worth the little extra when you get one that you really like..I also got their pinion pine they were advertising candles made with but I think it was the only one I wasn't immediately impressed with. You can tell they take time and ride in their products and test them well before they put them out there. I have been impressed with their quality of products all around even if pricey.

Your bath bombs are beautiful but people need to know that I contacted the company you buy your micas from because the prices are so good. I asked specifically about what their micas are made from. All of their micas have aquamarine and chromium dioxide in them. They said they are "looking into it" to making colors without those. It is illegal to sell bath bombs with aquamarine and chromium dioxide in the United States.

Just because a color isn't FDA approved for re-sale, does NOT mean its ILLEGAL. MOF As for right now, there is NO penalty for doing so! + I do NOT sell any of my products anyways! BandDers are the owners of the marblers line and I messaged them directly to ask. I received the following reply from them on October 12, 2021. You are very rude. You should NOT be using any of their blues and greens right now. Nice try. I do this for a living, so yes I know what I'm talking about. You are giving people the wrong recommendations. And YOU may not sell but there are others that follow you that might be. You are giving people the wrong recommendation for colors. They should be using lakes or bath bomb dyes. It is one thing to use soap that washes off but it is completely another to soak in it like you do in a bath. This is about safety not YOUR preference. If you can't be bothered to do it right, then don't post about it on KZbin. This about potentially harmful chemicals, not a joke, and not a play thing. There are people that make their living selling bath and body products. Giving them the wrong information could end with them being sued or even jailed. As for the FDA, chromium oxide and ultramarines are approved for external use only and only as long as they don't touch mucous membranes. And I don't know about you but there is a very important womens mucous membrane down below that comes in contact with water whenever we bath or shower where babies come out of. Dear Melissa, Our greens and blues contain chromium green and ultramarine pigment, which are not safe to be used in bath bombs or lip products. However, we are going to list new type of products that are approved for lips or to be added in bath bombs by end of October. Please be patient until then. Thank you for your interest.
