This is very helpful I would say I am a little disappointed for the hype of how on point candle science scents were, but I feel like they are still great in a way like you have said. I know that a few of their FO are on point, it just having to see them for yourself.

Ok so patchouli is my all time fave and I made an 8oz tin using 2 CDN 2 wicks with soy 10 and let it cure 2 weeks, lit it and hardly any HT which I was devastated, same wax and wicks I used for my coffee candle and pumpkin which had extremely strong HT, what can I do? It's so subtle and I have to make it work lol patchouli is my FAVORITE and this one smells mesmerizing OOB. Help!!!!

Hi Priscilla! Yup, not uncommon at all. Soy can be really particular and some fragrances just don't work the best with some waxes. What percentage did you use?

@@earthglow 10% on everything and it's been very fragrant, so that same candle which was tunneling with very little fragrance wound up picking up a flame mid way down and actually gave an extremely surprising HT, not sure what happened, this can be concerning when you want to eventually sell them 🤔 I'll test a couple more with that fragrance, not sure what happened and I appreciate your response. Love your videos ♥️

@@priscillajimenez9419 Yup, I’d recommend making that same candle with the same process several more times and seeing if you’d an get a more consistent result.

Possibly even leave the wicks a little longer (if you had trimmed them super short) for the first burn.
