Surprised you didn't mention the Golden Axe that's stealable in Clearbrook (Alfyns starting town) Having a 265 attack, 100 crit weapon makes H'annit a monster well into chapter 3

I love this game! It is basic as fuck in some points, but I really enjoyed it through and through. Most beautiful RPG after Persona 5 for sure!

Combat looks basic but it feels much deeper than anything that comes out nowadays. Been an RPG fan since the early 90s. I almost gave up on the genre and kept playing older games because I feel like RPGs today focus more or action and graphics with very shallow systems.

She's also the best Warmaster in the game so there's that.

Does she *need* WM though? Beast Lore pretty much Warmasters for her, so you might as well give that to Olberic, who, at the point in the game where you get that class, is probably one of the worst characters in your party

@@Me-re2jd Beast lore can't really kill the final boss with one attack and Olberics bulk makes him a good support. I like to run Cleric, Merchant or Apothocary on him. H'aanit's extra accuracy and crit is more desirable imo. It doesn't really matter in the end though. Even Ophilia can one shot the final boss with warmaster so you can use any character you want really.

Yeah fair point, anything really works with everyone if you know what you’re doing, I just prefer giving the broken class to the underpowered character instead of giving it to the already broken character

@@Me-re2jd fair enough, I do think H'aanit is the optimal user but she's also my favorite character and seeing her tear through bosses is very fun.

H'aanit can also be a scholar or a sorcerer in post-game. She can equip Battle-tested Axe and Absolute Zero Staff, both of which boost ice damage.
