what a beautiful on point subject,some might ask why there's no parfum concentration here!,,it was actually very on point not to mention parfum concentration because it's just extra,again because parfum concentration actually contains 20%_30% fragrance,which is the same concentration used in Eau de parfum,,also some extrait de parfum reach up to 50% sometimes..thanks a lot guys,enjoyed the video so much..cheers.

Thank you so much for this informative video! Quick question, where does eau de cologne fit into the hierarchy? Is it after aftershave and before EDT?

Great to hear from you. In answer to your question it all in relation to the amount of oil in the fragrance: After Shave: 1-3% Eau de Cologne: 2-5% Toilette: 10-15% Parfum: 20-25% Extrait: 25%+ Hope that helps💫

I usually wear toilettes (i really hope i spelt that right) as a man who loves manly amd robust scents i just recently got my first eau de parfum, in "scents of wood vanilla in bourbon" its very very nice, but i appreciate the explanation guys! I find that most extraits sit on my skin for 24 hours easily. Check out the Nasomatto range, all of these are extraits and they linger. Not massive projection (medium) but incredible longevity on skin....good luck!

Straight Parfum or extrait de Parfum is same thing. Anything above 25% essential oil is extrait de Parfum or Parfum. But some companies labels can be very misleading. Like as Dior homme Parfum It is only eau de Parfum. 😊
