As I walked where the pilgrims walked, I could picture myself dressed as a pilgrim. As I wondered about life there - My husband said where's the food? I said we are walking where history was made. I love history - We were on a tour. Loved seeing plymouth Amazing !

Ive been their twice sense 2016 and i want to go their every 4 or 5 years, though my mom (60's) is getting older so maybe not for a while.

Where are the earliest graves from the first winter?

I dont think they were found. The pilgrims buired them at night so that the native wouldnt see how weak and out-numbered they were. Their is a memorial with the names of all the passengers that died that first winter on it, some bones might be in it but idk for sure.

Why does no one recognize the fact that the pilgrims first arrived in Provincetown and worked their way up the cape to Plymouth.

I always wonder what those native Americans thought and felt the minute they saw those Dutch men. I’m sure it was horrible. Similar to us seeing an alien. I mean really.

Interesting that she didn't point out the location where the early Plymouth inhabitants placed Metacom's (AKA: King Philip) head on a pike after they killed him and dismembered his head from the rest of his body. For those who don't know, the plaque is located just downhill from the church in Historic Square on the same side of the street as the restored 1740s courthouse. Take a moment to read it sometime. Truly gruesome; and it was done by people only one generation removed from their forefathers being saved by the Wampanoag people.

His head was on display for the better part of two decades. It was a war that Metacom lost. Also, he committed many atrocities of his own, and against his own people. Donna probably didn’t find it relevant to this video. Maybe a video can be made about King Phillips War. It’s quite interesting stuff!
