The rattle is an easy fix. Push out that piece from inside of the grip and place a piece of or two of printer paper or a very thin piece of cardboard and replace. All the metal frames have had the same issue with the rattle.

Good video. I have that same gun but I end up switching the slide to my compact frame. I didn’t like the metal frame. The trigger will definitely need an apex the rest is subpar. Now the compact version I like much more. Great review guys. Subscribed.

Did you experience any slide lock issues while shooting? Apparently some people said that when they pull the trigger the slide stop/slide release would move up automatically causing the slide to lock back before the mag was empty.

We didn’t experience any issues like that with ours.

This was only an issue with the very first generation of these firearms. I own a later generation of the Metal Carry Comp and have put 750 rounds through it with no malfunctions. What I can say is it is the flattest, most accurate and softest shooting handgun I have ever fired.

This gun is a complete knockout and I am thrilled that we have a firearm manufacturer right here in the USA that is pushing innovations in the firearm industry. This gun has been perfect for me, I put a Holosun SCS MP on it and it fits great and co witnesses for me. I put a TLR-1HL on it and after 750 rounds this is the flattest, most accurate and softest firearm I have ever fired. When I purchased this firearm I was told by EVERYONE to wait at least 2 years because all new firearms have issues with new releases. Did EVERYONE in the 2A community forget this? At this point you guntubers are just piling on with this firearm and using this as a platform to bash Smith and raise up whatever you think is great, I am guessing you are Glock boys.
