@@AttawayAudio I have an SQ-5, SQ-6, a DX Hub, two DX 168’s, two ME-1 mixers, plus both Dante and Waves I/O cards and an additional SLink card. Q: Can I link the two mixers and start using either the Dante or Waves card in the available I/O of the 2nd mixer? Thanks. Jim Kegley, Las Vegas

Is there a reason the direct out setting is global? Wouldn’t it make sense to have individual channel control over the direct out volume at the very least? 🙏🇬🇧♥️

The volume is per channel, but the pickoff point is global. I don't know why they didn't let that be adjusted on a per-channel basis. It can be more than a little frustrating. Though if you want some channels to have NO processing for a direct output, you could use the tie lines to go straight from an input channel to a ME-1 mixer or multitrack recorder.

We have this desk! And it’s overkill to be honest 😅 we rarely have more than 3 band members at any one time - when would you start using DCAs? When not everything can fit on one layer? Currently it all can

Hey, thanks for all your videos, its really helpful!🙏 In my sq5, the gain is really low, about 5 db, and the gain chart is barely touching the -40db . If im trying to increase the gain the feedback coming up. The speakers set to low db, but it doesn't help. Because of the low gain my gate compression almost doesn't effect the sound. can you tell me how can I set my gain to a normal level please? Thank you very much!🤗

Sounds like your amps have more power than you're needing. If you can't turn them down any more, you can route your stereo bus through a matrix and trim down the level on the matrix.

Thank you very much!! I have checked my speakers another time because of your answer, and I realized that they were on the mic line and not the mixer line!! I change it and voila! My system a lot quiter then it was, I tune my mixer for good settings and it's all works perfectly and loud without any feedback!! Thank God and you!🙏
