A HALTI HEAD COLLAR IS A GAMECHANGER !!

This took our loose leash walking up a notch. BONUS BENEFITS: Sam doesn't pick things up off the road when he is wearing the collar. He is less reactive when he sees another dog. The strength of any pulling is drastically reduced.
While I don't think this is a substitute for training, I do find it makes a huge difference. Walks with our Golden Retriever on the leash are A LOT more relaxed and fun.

@celinaphem3895 That is a large but I am now finding the Gentle Leader to be more effective and also less restrictive. I use a medium for the GL.
