I accidentally left the scan lines on when testing the panel, sorry everyone. Disabling them seems to brighten the panel by a good 15-25%, but the colors remain unaffected. What do you like most about the Anbernic SP?

Quick save tip. Press menu button and right shoulder button at the same time to quick save while still in game.

I fixed the rattle on mine by opening mine up and putting a piece of foam in between the shoulder buttons. Also did the tape mode for the buttons

I've considered doing that for my Plus, but ultimately I think I weirdly like the noise. Maybe one day I'll fix it for a bit of silence, but I'm a little weirdo who probably has ADHD and it just makes me want to shake it and hear that noise sometimes.

Great in depth review man. Thank you. However not comparing the Anbernic SP to the dimensions and weight of the original GBA SP is an absolute sin.

It's a tiny sliver larger in every way. Literally under 10mm of difference, and about 50g heavier

It looked like you had some sort scanline shader or overlay applied during the screen comparison on sp, this might make the screen darker and maybe distort the color balance, which might affect comparsion results, correct me if I was mistaken but what I zoomed in it looked like it.

I double-checked, and yes, the scan line filter was on. However, turning it off didn't seem to change the colors at all. I also ensured all colorization options were disabled in the video, so it's essentially just the filter.

Any chance that you’ll review the 40XX H? Curious to get your input on the ergonomics, buttons, and larger screen vs the 35XX H. I think it would be a good comparison video

The minute I got mine I made a copy of everything on the SD card and put it in a folder on my PC, just incase something went wrong with the SD I can just transfer it all onto a new SD

Silver paint always looks like crap when I ages, the nostalgia glasses are hitting people way too hard with this color

You have a dirty desk, from to much dust even the phone can scratch. Also, the OG SP has the worst paint, mine dosent have any scratches. If you eat at your desk, and dont clean the dust, you will scratch everything.
