A Hat in Time is such a fun game, I would definitely recommend it if you have an interest in 3D platformers! Unfortunately this rift doesn't appear for me. Is there reason or is it just a glitch? (Playing on the Switch btw)

Is there a way to get into the final level without the ice hat? Or is the idea that you would do this (if it turns out faster) then collect enough yarn to knit the ice hat as you work your way to the endgame? Super cool either way!
