Thank you for the encouraging words from Winston Churchill! I have worked in child protective services/foster care for many years and let me tell you that it's one very dark and dirty place! It's a ministry that gets no honor and many times I've see workers cry in their offices along with the children they are helping to save. I and some of my coworkers have wanted to give up lately but God sees us! He has honored us to be able to do this and like the coal miners, we may be unknown and buried underground but we are helping accomplish His will and win the war!! Love you brother and thank you!!

This really spoke to me today! When I woke this morning I was given the word Paraclete. I remembered hearing this word in church but couldn’t remember what it meant. I asked God to lead me to more understanding of this word. Later I looked it up online and saw it meant advocate or Holy Spirit. Was listening to this message on the way to work and was so excited for Dutch to explain Paraclete! I love all the ways God communicates to us!

We are a homeschool family and we read about his speech to the coal miners. We all have a part- even if it’s not on the front lines. I believe some of us have a part in praying for perseverance and courage for those who are fighting on the front lines for liberty and Godly values.

The sad thing is many year's later when she realised it was cheaper to import Coal Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher closed down the Mines & all the families who's great-grandfathers, grandfather's, husband's, uncle's, son's & brother's had worked the Mines before & since Churchill's speech lost their job's. And in many instances the town's that had grown up because of the Mines all ended up derelict ghost towns.

Facing surgery on the 17th and nothing seems real and people are coming to me with turn your face to the wall and repent ps51 as well as 2Kings 17:14-20 and 29-31…I’m not sure what to repent of or from, however the fear of the Lord has been upon me and I’m repenting already walking through the valley of the shadow of death and persecution like never before within my home…I only claim to be a born again child of God. No pointing of fingers or judgement they are judging themselves and blaming me…. I believe the enemy is confused! WooHoo!! Some thirty plus years ago Pastor Greg Gallaher preached a sermon titled 'Be A Barney' and he started it out singing the well known tune from the 'Barney' children's show... "I Love You, You Love Me'... we all wondered where this was going and some of us looked around half expecting a big purple dinosaur to pop out on the stage... but he didn't. Instead Pastor Greg talked about Barney the dyno, the encourager for children to learn, Barney Fife, Andy Griffith's sidekick who encouraged even through his blunders, and finally Barnabas, Paul's sidekick and encourager. I have done my best since then to be an encourager even through the hardships of life. Thank you, Dutch for this reminder to be a 'Barney'.

Barney need not enter the picture. It's Barnabas who should be cited as the "Encourager." Dialogue between people showing encouragement to one another is the best example. What's the motivation? Purple Dinosaurs are just a childhood playmate that means little in later life. It's part of the secular world that moves you away from God. This may seem trivial but there is much effort to demote God. Beware out there ☆
