First time I went to Devils Tower, I met a guy from England. We were both en route to Sturgis. I asked him if he was going to see DT; he said that he wasn’t. I recommended that he go as I was leaving the rest area. As I was leaving DT to continue on to Sturgis, I saw him enjoying the view. He gave me “a big fat thumbs up” as I rode by. When my wife & I went to Sturgis a couple of years ago, we stopped to see it again. Devils Tower was her highlight of the trip! Glad you were able to make it to my half of the country to see this! 👍

The feelings you tried to describe I experienced yesterday on a day ride to Lake George NY. Riding through the Adirondack Park is just a magnificent and humbling experience because of the beauty and awesomeness of nature. And on the Spyder, not only do you see it in every angle, you can smell it and you can feel it. There are no words for it. Cheers Coach!

I too had never heard of Devil's tower before the movie came. I did get there last summer, but in a car as I was "between" Spyders. Seeing it up close in person was simply awesome !!! 😳😁👍👍

Last time I was at Devils Tower camping at the KOA outside the park, we had an thunder storm at night and the lightening was really strange. The path you were on was dirt.

You missed a great ride back to Deadwood. Take the northern route through Aladen and stop at the General Store. Sorry we missed you out there. It was our 10 rally time this year. We were out there with three other friends, two bikes. Always great riding, but I still have not seen it all.

Been to the Sturgis rally seven times. The riding in that part of the country never fails to amaze me. Wyoming and Montana also have some awesome rides. Thanks for letting me relive my time out there. At 75 I have probably taken my last ride out there from Ohio.

Would you say you got to the devil‘s tower about 830 a.m. with little to no wait to get in then? We changed our plans and are looking to go up there-(stay in deadwood) in the middle of July on our spyder in 2025

Not sure someone asked this question or not. From where you were staying to The devil's tower. How much gas did you use. a whole tank of gas or just a 1/2 Of tank of gas.
