About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first KZbin channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

32:33 I think those are cycads. Pitogo. A lot of them are endemic to specific islands. A lot of them are also critically endangered.

I love watching kids experience nature and all its joys! I remember being a child and going to tide pools and finding hermit crabs and Kina (What we call sea urchin) and other sea creatures and it makes me happy that no matter what kind of life you may have, exploring nature is something most families can experience together.

Mind-blowing! It was also my first time to see that kind of mangrove. 🤩 And THE FOOD! WOWWW! I haven't had binakol. So jealous with the munggo. 😋 Our first helicopter ride was in Vegas Sept. 2016 with my dad, sister, daughter and friend. 😊

23:03 That type of fishing boat is called a basnigan. It uses a unique fishing technique utilized mostly in the Visayas and Mindanao. It uses a web-like arrangement of poles (called a basnig) as anchors for pulleys which link to a large net directly beneath the boat. A large light is then shown below the boat which attracts fish. When there's enough, the net is quickly pulled up.

I am very fortunate as Florida has the largest mangrove swamp in the world. I am very familiar with mangroves and they must be preserved. So nice to see some near Iloilo too. Loved the island hopping. Reminds me of thousand islands in the State of New York. Where people have bought an island and constructed large homes, very cool.

wow i want to go back home there ... i saw how they upgrade ginisang momggo with the greens😋😋😋😋😋😋 and sinigang is one of my fave ulam my mom would use akk kinds of sour stuff for that ulam from kamyass, santol, kalamansi, sampaloc or lots of tomatoes would still be delicious especially if they sinigang fish

My maternal grandparents are from Iloilo, so my family is used to Ilonggo cuisine even if all of us were already born and raised in the NCR. Now, I'm in Laguna, and we have batuan powder, so we can still make KBL lol. We also found a wild kadyos plant, lol, but we also purchase kadyos online.

The local weed in the monggo is called Dandelion leaves. Its a medicinal herb and good for liver cleansing. Mila from Melbourne Australia

And to think that Guimaras is only 15mins boat ride from iloilo, From your Iloilo Farm it will only take about 1.5 hours + 15mins boat to guimaras and you can enjoy the whole island of guimaras. Guimaras is not only manggoes, it has a lot of great beaches and windmill farm and more. Even in Iloilo province or let say Panay Island, it has a lot to offer other than Boracay island we have also Gigantes Island in the North and Island beaches of Antique.

That part of molo area across the river, are the approach area of the old mandurriao airport, which is why you don't have seen any high rise building, in the future building officials maybe will allow construction of high rise edifice as there will be no more restrictions.

Yes, the little islands count, too! I think this is why the official number keeps changing. I think the official number is somewhere over 7,600 islands!
