Yeah Soyeon is kinda in another league, to the point where we need to choose another bias because she is automatically the one. Neverlands ((g)-idle fandom) are still searching for something she can't do... She is probably the most talented k-pop female rapper ever ... she can sing, she can perfectly dance, and she is writting AND producing ALL of (g)-idle songs. She's giving us Collab everywhere (K/DA, Hyoyeon from Girl Generation, Namjoo from Apink, Wow things...). and well... even if it's not the most important thing to love an artist ... she's gorgeous ^^. you'll discover that she also one of the idol with the largest gap between her personna on and off stage XD (soojin is up there too).

Originally Blackpink was supposed to be debut 5 members Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Miyeon. Miyeon was a YG trainee for 5 years and she and Jennie became trainee at the same time. Miyeon left YGE before debut because she lost her hope, faith and patience in debut because their debut was always pushed back. Koop training is very tough especially of YGE. You will understand how training of YG work if you have watched the Blackpink Documentary "Light Up the Sky". She is close to all Blackpink members especially Lisa. But at the end everything was destined. I am glad that she debuted as Main Vocalist of (G)-IDLE. I can't imagine Blackpink with five members instead of four and (G)-DLE without Miyeon.

to be precise, the original plan was for Blackpink to have 9 members, but after years of training YG decided to debut only 4 because they had the best chemistry and balance with each other

Fun facts about Soyeon: 1) She does the lyrics, arrangements and production for (G)I-DLE's title tracks. Meaning, she raps, sings, writes, composes AND produces! 2) Girl is SHORT with a capital S-H-O-R-T. Her official height lists her at 157cm (5'2''). For a frame of reference, that makes her shorter than Chaeyoung..... y'kno the super smoll bean from TWICE? Yeah, Soyeon is nearly a whole inch shorter than her!! 😂😂

Actually, Minnie is really smart and can speak 5 languages!! (Thai, Korean, English, Japanese and Mandarin). Yuqi is also super smart, she was top of her class back in China and could've gone to some prestigious colleges if she wanted to, but she chose to be an idol! All of the members are so talented, they are a super group tbh. There's a reason they were called Monster Rookies when they debuted ;)

Been a fan of Soyeon even before (G)I-dle She was fierce in Produce 101 and should have made it in the top 11 to form the group IOI. It sucks that she got a lot of negative comments in that show for her appearance. You can tell iit partially brought down her morale and confidence. In a way it made her stronger and now she's even a better rapper and overall entertainer than ever before.

Produce 101 is a reality show where 101 trainee girls from different companies compete to be a part of now disband group I.O.I . The group was only meant to be together for 1 year😢. Soyeon was eliminated on the final choosing😞. Other shows like this is Produce 101 season 2 which formed now disband boy group Wanna One🥺 and Produce 48 where still active girl group IZ'One‼️

You know Produce101 from your Very Very Very by I.O.I. reaction. That group was selected from the reality show Produce101. Soyeon is the most talented rapper of this generation of kpop but that show was a popularity contest so she didn't get selected. It was such a smash the game creators decided to do another song last year and then a month ago dropped a new song called "The Baddest" It was just announced that there will be a full album which includes a song by....TWICE!!!!!

Produce 101 was a girl group survival show. Those who made it through were to form a girl group under the same name for a period of a year or two (someone correct me on the number of years). Once the contract ended, they are split up to go their separate ways and sign with new agencies and form new groups.

Yuqi's name is pronounced Uki without the "you" the y is silent. And Shuhua's name is Sh(like the shushing sound)u wah.

Kind of. Yuqi's korean name is 송우기 (pronounced song wu-gi) or her chinese name is 宋雨琦 (this one is tougher: in english its closest to song yuchee. if you put those characters into google translate itll show you better) Really the best advice is to just put the Korean characters for their names into translate like i mentioned above, itll give you a better approximation for pronunciation than english letters can.
