Wow, thank you so much for sharing this. I've been involved with puppets tangentially thru most of my life, and I had never heard of Paul Ashley's work. I've just gone down a rabbit hole of discovery, and am so pleased to finally learn of his artistry! I'm curious, do you know anything about Jack Shafton, who, I believe, built most of the Krofft puppets, back in the "Les Poupees" days?

You are welcome. Paul's work is a rabbit hole worth going down. Also research Chuck McCann who I mention in the video. I don't know Jack Shafton, but would love to learn more.

Oh my!!!!! My first exposure to hand puppets on TV were Paul Ashley's genius creations. Yes, I'm that old! Of course then I was spoiled as nothing else compared to these puppets. I am personally thrilled not only that you know of these incomparable characters but now possess one. I'm trying really hard not to be jealous.
