I've never owned any of these products so I can't comment on them specifically. In my mind I understand isolation for turntables. I've got a 60kg moulded black polished concrete block, with rounded edges & rebar under my turntable. The wife works in construction! To my mind that, with a stylus picking up vibration, I get it. It cost me £100 to be custom moulded because its nothing to do with audio. If it was an audio company it probably would've cost 10-20 times as much. These isolation feet cost £120 starting, £60 retail, £30 cost? So I don't get why a manufacturer who will stress every single tiny design of uncompromising detail in a £2000+ plus dac/amp etc & would scrimp on a £30 (to them at manufacture) set of feet that would have a noticeable sonic difference. A BOULDER 2120 DAC costs £79,000, more than a lot of Porsches, they have aluminium feet. If isolation feet are so important then why when spending 5,10k + on an obscenely expensive dac/ amp would they not include their own built in & researched isolation feet, knowing such an after thought could improve something they've been working on for years,? How could any high end company happily sell to products to customers with such an easily remedied Achilles heel? If these work then great, good for them. Makes a lot of companies, who pride themselves in minutia detailing, look very, very silly for such an obvious, almost embarrassing, & easily remedied oversight.

That is a totally understandable thought process and you always expect everything to be as perfect as it can be, but maybe there are areas that can still be improved in designs. I have tried a lot of these products and some are really surprising in what they do, but best not to take my word for it or anyone's but if you get a chance to try it for yourself see what happens. Thanks for watching and commenting

If you are expecting to see Audioholics types of videos here you wont ever, there will never be star trek characters in my videos What there is in my videos is sound recordings that back up everything I have ever said, I prove everything in my own way - how many times have audioholics ever demonstrated anything like that. Dont worry he backs everything up science which is fine, even though graphs dont tell you everything - I back everything up real recorded audio which is what this is all about. As you will see today with a demo video I will drop there is no snake oil here

Your equipment is great but you drank the silly juice when it comes to the importance of Cables which is a big marketing scheme with no real science involved just good salesman!!!! There's nothing wrong with buying them for their real purpose which is Audio Jewelry. Most are Rejacketed Beldin Cables with nice connectors.
@PursuitPerfectSystem
@PursuitPerfectSystem 4 жыл бұрын
@@ruffman44 if you can achieve phenomenal sound quality using cheaper cables good for you go that route and be happy. I have never heard a system sound properly good with that type of cable never once and I am hearing them all the time when we are not locked down of course. So I will keep doing what I am doing thanks very much

Have you tried using the TT 2 as an amp? It's 20 watts should be more than enough for some speakers, especially on a desk. Theoretically, for these, wouldn't the TToby just be worse, since the signal has to go through an extra device?
@PursuitPerfectSystem
@PursuitPerfectSystem 4 жыл бұрын
It wont have the minerals for these speakers - they may be small but they need a meaty amp to drive them properly - they are 83db efficient for startes - the TT2 will want 90db+ for sure :)
@thanossapiens
@thanossapiens 4 жыл бұрын
@@PursuitPerfectSystem Wouldn't the TT 2 be able to drive them even above 90db, unless I am mistaken? I don't think anyone would listen louder than this on a desk.

3 feet are better than 4!
@PursuitPerfectSystem
@PursuitPerfectSystem 4 жыл бұрын
it the component you are placing these under has 3 feet then use 3, if it has 4 use four - the same contact area as if you are using a HiFi Rack
@andru2625
@andru2625 4 жыл бұрын
@@PursuitPerfectSystem All hi-fi antivibration feet manufacturers advise on using 3 and not 4, regardless on how many the component uses. The reasoning is that 3 feet will always define a perfect plane (triangle) with optimal contact with the component chassis, while 4 feet will act simillarly to a chair that has one foot slightly above ground, making it slightly unstable and shifting its center of gravity from the raised leg to the one opposite to it. Therefore 4 feet will not make perfect contact with the chassis, thus reducing their efficiency.
@PursuitPerfectSystem

I have had the opposite experience Alexandru so far - not so much with this design but other designs the more areas of vibration drains that are in good contact with the component the better things have sounded, good solid contact being important - it its sometimes a pig to get them all to make good contact, its interesting that 3 is easier to do that with, I didnt know that, cheers

What a bunch of bollocks. DO people really believe these things can change the sound of their system? Explain how resonance effects a DAC?
@PursuitPerfectSystem
@PursuitPerfectSystem 4 жыл бұрын
Maybe watch this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/d52wpYqonZV3jqM where I demonstrate how isolation effects the sound of a dac and amplifier and I will make A/B demo videos for the QPLUS coming soon. Most people that think its "bollocks" have never tried it and therefore are making a pre judgement. I made a "thing" about isolating a Chord Qutest DAC when it first came out and there was a lot of negativity towards me for that - now look through the owners thread on Facebook and see how many audiophiles are doing the same - thats nothing to do with me saying it works that's them trying it and seeing for themselves
