Last week’s race C was a DR goldmine for me, after 7 years of trying I finally got to DR A I never dropped out of the top 5 in any of my attempts

It might be possible in the Mazda3 to beat the Meta. You would just need to maximise the middle sector. I was finding I could carry more speed through turn 2 than the Veyron and after the race worked out where I lifted leading to contact was better in 4th gear than third to help with the understeer. It can take the last corner flat and doesn't need a lift on entry at least in TT.

You're correct, even the Huracan could do something in the right hands, I finished 2nd with Mazda3 and a Huracan was the winner with a Veyron in 3rd far away from us

I liked the use of 'maximise the potential' for the best times in race B, rather than 'use wall riding'. I do wonder if they will enforce more strict pens and reset the leaderboards like they did with the short Lago Maggiore course a little while back.

I agree with with you on the penalty system. Guy gets spun right into the front of me and 3 second penalty. Then I avoid a spinning car and get a track limit penalty. PD pick one.

That penalty was so harsh. Was a good racing you in the VR. You were in the blindspot the wing mirrors are useless. Great racing with you.

The German was rough....full sends and I noticed he tried to squeeze you into the wall....some say Jammys indicator is still indicating.

This week of races are insane daily race A is if you touch the wall it's a 5sec penalty daily race B is the legend has returned and daily race C is well deep forest with racing softs great week for speed

I feel your pain for the penalty. I was in the GTWS event on Saturday and was fighting for P2 and car in P2 lost control swerved left then cam back across in front of me could not avoid him. I get 4 seconds of penalty with 2 laps to go. Finished 4th

It's the will riding glitch that ruins Race B. You'd think that after the last time HSR was used as a Daily Race (March 2023) that something would've been done about it! Guess we'll have to see what happens as the week goes on whether there's any changes... Besides that, brilliant guide as always!

So they finally use High Speed Ring. The one track that the Super Silhouette could actually work for Beat the Meta... and they make it for Gr.4. Also, I sometimes host Civic EK Touring Car lobbies on weekends. Some of the best racing to be had.

They could create epic races with High Speed ring but it only gets Race B status, yet it was one of the selling points of the game when advertised

@@tidgney The wall riding is an easy fix, implement the same invalid lap system they use for time challenge laps, that will fix tt laps, they will at least be in the mindset to race without touching the wall

Daily C is actually fun and rewarding. Lots of different cars and deep forest actually has good penalties.

Awesome guide as always. Gotta say race A looks amazing in VR, especially at night in Tokyo but a shame about the lack of ability to pass in the narrow streets. I'm focusing on Race C , first time finally using a wheel so I can hit that final hairpin waaaaaay better than controller. Anyone use the New Old NSX gt500 there? Will it's top speed hold with the Ford GT?

I think the 3 second penalty was passing a car on the yellow, the yellow flag WAS out.

I reckon your penalty was for ignoring the yellow flags rather than a collision because 3 seconds is unusual for that but is standard for yellow flags. Also if you had a collision and went off track you usually do not get the track limit penalty as the game thinks you have been hit there so it also makes me think that the 3 seconds was not for the collision.

The races are terrible last several weeks. Simgrid came along at the right time. I haven’t played GT7 for 3 weeks. They need to fix some of these issues and give us some decent races.

This game would seriously benefit by having Tokyo 246 back, daily race A was horrible to watch, Tokyo expressway isn’t a fun track and it’s too narrow, not sure if I’ll be doing that one

In the lap guide its literally bottom right as a graphic. So the second it starts check the bottom right. There's a graphic with HP, BB and Weight with a picture of the car being used

Yeah, the acceleration sucks once you go above the 3/4 mark in that car, so short shifting is much better

Tidge has been instrumental in me getting the 24 golds and 3 silvers I currently have (and no bronze medals either) with a further 2 golds as a potential in the time trials, without his guidance I'd probably only have a third as many golds as I do. His guides and tips are excellent and I hope he continues them
