For me it is too much coincidence! We must remember that ancient Hindu had a particular style for every place they settled, so Cambodia had a style, Indonesia another, China, and so on. When we look to the Mesoamerican deities we found a lot of styled Nagas, and even between Mesoamerican societies the styles between deities changed, for example the Aztec feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl was once knew as Kulkukan before among Mayan people. The Mayans knew foreign people for sure, for example one of the kings of the city of Palenque was known as "Gaspar" and was bearded, different of central american natives. Maybe now that many cities are now being unearthed there, we will have a clear proven of Hindu influence in Americas. Thank you very much Praveen Mohan for sharing it! I love this channel!! I went down a wormhole on KZbin a few weeks ago and landed on a video about these people in New Zealand who the native people claim were already there when they arrived. They are called the “Wakka Blondes” and their blonde haired descendants are still there today in some areas, and the family history passed down is that they were from Modern day Iran but what would probably be considered Egypt back then and they were chased out by other people, sailed to South America, stayed in Peru for some time then went on to the South Pacific before eventually settling in NZ. You have to go. In my opinion Tikal and other sites in Guatemala are more impressive than in southern Mexico. A guide mention that Mexico is most known for Mayan megalithic structures due to the Government promoting it more for tourism than in Guatemala. I believe Guatemala is the center of ancient Mayan civilization. Tikal for example is reported that the city is much bigger than what is currently excavated. Most of it is hidden from the jungle overgrowth.

Hi Praveen..Do visit some Mayan temples in Mexico as well..would be great to know your thoughts...there is a temple called Ek Balam near Chichen Itza which i had visited last year , it had very much striking resemblance to Hindu temples of South India with the deites/idols adorned to the gopuras also with dwara palakas...! Keep up the outstanding work!

I think one Civilization existed many thousands of years ago and they taught both of the civilization's how to build temples from one initial blueprint, but both civilization's built their temples on a variation of that blueprint making them have subtle differences.

Clare Kuehn Well the old world was much wise and purposeful than today. They were all connected though modern scientists say otherwise. If at all other countries remembered their history like India does. Indians are proud that even after invasions and a 1000 year brutality we still were successful to preserve the ancient knowledge The other countries went to mass conversions and the old wisdom and knowledge was destroyed by the religious leaders. Today most people are living in some sort of dream and aloof from reality of nature of life. Great theory! In your theory, you think that the Hindu temple came first and then exported to Guatemala, but what if it was the other way around? What if the Guatemalan temple was created first, then they migrated to India and disappeared from Guatemala? Or another theory is that they are related people. As you may know, the Babylonians exported their idols all over the world, and people split through time, inhabiting different parts of the world, bringing with them the same idol worshiping. That is why we see so many similarities in different cultures when it comes to idol worshiping. The same kind of temples are found in Egypt, Guatemala, Peru, and India. Maybe at one time they were one people. Thanks for the video. Great!

The Indian/Hindu civilization is much older and widespread than we think. Mayan seems to be Hindu civilization based on its name and the architect who went there. Also Tikal is Indian name. The two stepped pyramids (in Guatemala and Cambodia) are absolutely mirror images so must have been designed/built by same person. Thanks for bringing such things to our attention and making us think hard. Visiting ancient sites and temples will never be the same for me , because I will be looking and not merely seeing. Great job Praveen. Keep doing the good work.
