I can see this is a place of profound peace. Thank you for the lovely light of memories you shine over it, and for sharing your brother, and some beautifully-spoken Shakespeare with us. If you put out more poetry-reading content, as well as your spooky prose, we listeners should be most lucky.

No forgiveness needed to be asked and none required to be given. It was wonderful hearing about your brother! These things, in addition to the breathtaking scenery you provide us each episode, endear me even more to this awesome channel. Thank you for allowing us a small insight into this special memory of your brother. It saddens me greatly to see a country so full of the most beautiful, historical and assessable churches in the world to have majoritively turned away from Christ and life as believers. May the Lord have mercy and grace on us all! Thank you again Robin!

Lovely as the tribute to your late brother was, I wish you had added a couple of minutes before that to describe the house sat next to the chapel, and give its history, if known. Not huge, or grand, it is a perfectly proportioned (Manor?) house that caught my eye, and ignited my imagination.

Hello just discovered your channel after having been to Farmcote only this morning with a visiting friend. I have walked around there many times but on such a perfect late summer's day was struck anew by what a rare and profoundly peaceful place it is. The owner of the chilli nursery just beyond the church told us about the lost village on the slopes behind so it was once a bigger place, but always beautiful and remote.

I worked in a gourmet market here in NYC, and discovered a cheddar cheese called Cotswolds. It was infused with onions and chives. Indescribably delicious. I would sometimes work in the cheese department and pass out samples of it and people went crazy for it. We Americans are used to cheap processed cheddar. It was fun to introduce them to the real thing and watch their reaction.

Touching eulogy to your brother in a beautiful setting. I lost my father in 2013 and it was a reminder to me of the stories he told me of riding his Lambretta to his favourite locations in Scotland, funnily enough he was a bassist in a skiffle band as well. Although some would like to point out our differences on this island, we really are all brothers.

Amazing clips from beautifull England.. great sounds.. narator.. my English is not perfect.. but I recognized dedication to your Brother.. sad Story.. two questions, which Music is in back, a what is the name of Sheakspeare song? All the best from Montenegro, thanks Mr Robin
@prarieborn64582 жыл бұрын
Dear Milos, i can answer one of your questions. the name of Shakespeare’s song is “Fear No More” from his play “Cymbeline”, it is about Cymbeline an ancient Celtic King of Britain also known as Cunobeline. The song in the play is a funeral song sung to the deceased. This song has been recorded and performed by Loreena Mckinnett on youtube.Her version has what i can only describe as an ancient “Celtic” and medieval sound, it is very sad and beautiful. Your question about the background music in the Farmcote video:I do not know. It may be listed in the credits at the end. I hope this helps a bit. Be Blessed this All Hallows Eve.🎃 from 🎃🇺🇸✝️🙏
